Update on Phillip! And a house pic!

Phillip who is in Quito, Ecuador trying to get our religious visas called me and said he will not get his interview with the consulate until next week. So, he had to change his airplane ticket to fly home NEXT TUESDAY. (He was supposed to come home tonight. =( Thanks for your prayers for him, for our visas, and for the kids and I.

When we moved into this house, we had so much furniture to buy that we saved OUR bedroom furniture for last. (Because it was hidden upstairs out of public view. =) So, we slept on this mattress for 6-7 months! It was not the "prettiest bedroom" you have ever seen. =)

Thank the Lord in February, God helped us to get this nice bed and 2 night stands for a GREAT Deal! We are THRILLED with the pretty bedroom that we have now. Kimberly told me that she thinks that it looks like a FANCY hotel room! =)

Heather,

Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment recently. It is definitely nice to "keep in touch" with friends via blogs. I really enjoy reading about your work in Columbia. Wow. You must really like to bake. What a really neat picture of your bedroom. I love the lighting.

As beautiful as I think that bedroom furniture looks, I do see someone who looks even better-which is our blond-haired mixture of Phillip and Heather looking at us, named Noah Evan. I must say-he sets the whole scene off perfectly! Love, Mom and Dad Dickinson

Heather, Sherry just sent me this web site. Thought I'd say hi- looks like a neat way to communicate. Give the kids a hug from uncle John and say hi to Phillip for me. Adios, John Sutherland

Beautiful! I love to see how you have made a warm, comforting and beautiful home for your family - no matter where! I'm used to being home alone with the kids each week some while David went to Mississippi. But now I'm facing a long one this week. Whenever I feel sorry for myself I think of you and Melodie. You're strong ladies. (I hide a knife under the mattress...what about you?)
