 ~THE PAULUSES CAME OVER FOR A VALENTINE'S MEAL~
~Last summer a friend gave me some Valentine's things.  She said that she had purchased them last Feb. to have a party, but then got the Flu, and couldn't.
So, I invited Randy and Kristin and family over for supper and had fun setting a Valentine's table.
~For my centerpiece...I had a gumball machine and hot pink gum balls....and my chalkboard said,
I CHEWS YOU!~

~This little fun bird was on the kids' table~
~These glasses were a part of the things my friend gave me.
So, we decorated the kids' table with them~
 ~Frying our taco shells~
~We served a new recipe for Chicken Tacos.  DELICIOUS!!

~Mary helped me make...Pancakes for breakfast~

~Dear GG sent each of the kids $5 and they were thrilled!~

~BOBOS CAFE~
The other day I wasn't feeling very well, and so Elijah, Mary, and Abigail surprised us, made breakfast, set the table, and served us!  It was so cute!
They greeted each of us as we came into the dinning room...and helped seat us!
~I think they meant to call it, "BODOS" cafe...but got the d turned around. :-)
~They even decorated a paper for the middle of the plate and wrapped our silverware.
Hmmmm, I can't imagine WHERE they got the idea to do fun tables! :-D ~
~Mary drew this chalkboard for me~
~This little heart shaped paper with I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST....was laying on top of the microwave, and one drip of COFFEE had made another heart beside it.  :-) ~

~PRAYERS APPRECIATED FOR MY FATHER-IN-LAW. ~
He broke 2 ribs and is in quite a bit of pain!!
We love his hat that Michael got him..."1949 model."

~Our family has been saving for MONTHS for Phillip and Noah to go see our Dear people in Argentina.  Just when we had nearly $2,000 saved, we excitedly went on line to price tickets, only to discover they were $1,700 - $2,100 PER TICKET!!!! I could've Cried!
I prayed about it, contacted a friend to PRAY...and she found us tickets from Chicago for $915 each!!!!  GOD IS SOOO AWESOME!!!  SO, Phillip and Noah will be going to visit our people in Argentina.  Please pray for this trip!!

~Central PA Youth Convention~

We were super excited that Jesus worked it out for us to get to go to PA for the Youth Convention there.  We had heard great reports of how God's presence was there...and we wanted our kids in that atmosphere!!
~OUR BACK WINDOW OF OUR SUBURBAN~
As I told you last blog post...our back window in our Suburban got broken out on Dec. 9th.  Our insurance came to fix it on Jan. 4th, but after taking off the plastic and tape....they discovered that they didn't have the right window.
We had waited for DAYS...nearly a month...and they still didn't have the right window.  We called them on Tuesday before we left for PA on Friday and told them we REALLY wanted to have a window in before we took that COLD trip.
They told us that they finally had the right window in and on Wednesday Kimberly and I drove out to the glass place ...in the -3 degree weather to get our new window.
Since our gas tank was on Bone empty...We stopped at a gas station about 3 miles away to get gas. Kimberly and I both were going to get out, so I took the key with me and locked the doors...leaving the Key fob and both of our cell phones inside.
When we went to get back in, our LOCK WAS FROZEN...and our key wouldn't work.  :-(
We were quite stressed wondering how to get back in, in time to make our appointment to get our LONG OVER-DUE back window replaced.
THANK THE LORD...the gas station attendant helped us to unfreeze our lock and we got to the glass place on time!!!
One of our windshield wipers was dying and I saw that they had them and would put them on for free.  So, I called Phillip to make sure it was ok with him if we got new windshield wipers.
I AM USED TO BUYING SHOES...
NOT WINDSHIELD WIPERS :-D...
and didn't realize they were    NOT    SOLD IN PAIRS!!!  :-(.
So, you can imagine my shock when he told me that would be $38.00 instead of the $17 that the sign had said.
But later after he realized how LONG we had been waiting for them to get the right window in stock and to replace it, HE GAVE ME THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FOR FREE!!!
Isn't God neat...how He does things like that for His children?!!!

SO....WE HAD A NEW BACK WINDOW AND NEW WINDSHIELD WIPERS FOR OUR LONG WINTERY TRIP TO PA!! :-)

I posted this on FB a couple days before we went to the Convention.
Not sure what you have on your prayer list today, but my God Cares and is able!!!
BRAGGING ON GOD!!!

When you stop by Jungle Jim's with not a lot of cash in your pocket and you painstakingly go through the store choosing what you should buy.
You have company (JIM AND LILA KEMP) that is going to arrive at your door soon... you want to buy fun snacks for your family on the way to Youth Convention in PA on Friday, and Argentine Yerba Mate (tea) to help keep Phillip awake while he drives. (A bag of Yerba Mate normally lasts about a month.)
Just before you check out... you decide to go to the Clearance Section and ....you find pretty much EVERYTHING you have in your cart plus extras for a WAY reduced price!
Including only 1 bag of MATE sitting there...that was $10 cheaper than the one we had in our cart.
I nearly had a Praising Jesus session right there in Jungle Jim's.
Again I say....Not sure what you have on your prayer list today, but my God Cares and is able!!!
(The "chocolate Rama's" were in the clearance section… And we enjoyed those in Argentina. Can't you see how God saw our shopping list and put it all in the clearance section before we got there?! ðŸ˜Š) ~Heather~
~Shortly after we got back from Jungle Jim's....We enjoyed a visit with our Dear friends Jim and Lila Kemp...and served them lunch.~
