This Sunday morning, in the midst of the RAINY season of Colombia we woke up to SUN! YEA! When we got to church, before service while Phillip was teaching a class for our future baptism, I had such a sweet time with Jesus, praying and praising. Later during service, a drunk man entered the church and Phillip had to go outside to talk to him, which in that area of Colombia could be SCARY, but God protected us. God's presence was SO close in our service. Praise Him! Please pray for one of our young men of our Paraiso church, he is very sick with Hepatitis! Also, another young man from our Corinto church is having family problems and needs prayer! Lord willing, Phillip leaves Monday night (April 2nd) to preach in Medillin, Colombia for 3 days. (Medillin is Colombia's second largest city, and it's 12 hours from Bogota. There are pics of Medillin on our Pics tab on holyvision.org) Please pray for Phillip's safety and that God would help him reach souls for Jesus. And hey, while you are at it, you could remember the kids and I in prayer. SMILE! Tonight on the way to service, in Amparo's truck, we had to slow down and STOP BECAUSE OF THIS!

Dear Heather,
We sure will be praying for Philip this week. We also will really be praying for you and the children. I know how lonely it must be without him. We miss you guys so much but you are in our thoughts and prayers alot!!! Love you all, Susanna Pilmore
I have to say - it looks familiar to us...especially when we're in the villages. But there's several guys that come through our little "cul-de-sac" with their donkey carts, hauling bricks or sand or whatever...
I'm praying for you while Philip's gone - I just welcomed my husband home today from a week preaching, baptizing, dedicating babies and more in the mountains of Oaxaca - I can sympathize. Our prayers are with Philip as he goes, too.

We will be praying for you all. We love you all very much.
Sis E
We'll be praying for you!
Thank God for preachers who take time out for drunk people who come to church -- as my dad, Johnnie Thompson, was once one of those drunk people! I remember him coming to church so drunk he could barely walk, -- and we girls who were always at church were so embarrassed -- but the preacher was always so kind to him. And because of the kindness, he went to Heaven when he died on April 1, 2000!
Love,
Aunt Ellen
