(Me making 220 sugar cookies, and 24 loaves of banana bread to pass out at church.)
Also, you CANNOT BUY PREPARED COOL WHIP HERE, only half and half, or a dry powdered mix, WHICH TO MAKE ONE OR BOTH OF THESE, ONE WOULD OBVIOUSLY NEED A MIXER! Well, in December we were visiting with my parents in Canada, and a DEAR friend from there gave me a large gift of money to help me with my baking project for our church people here in Colombia. I automatically thought of getting a mixer to SAVE my arm, stirring 3 and 4 batches of cookies at a time, EACH WEEKEND. HEE! HEE! So,I looked at buying and bringing a Kitchen Aid mixer back with me from the USA, but it weighed too much and I could not. They do sell Kitchen Aid mixers here, but they cost DOUBLE and TRIPLE the normal price! UGH! So, LAST SATURDAY God helped me find a mixer for a GOOD PRICE, that looks like QUALITY, IS ALL METAL, reminds me of a Kitchen Aid, and is made by "Hamilton Beach". PRAISE THE LORD FOR A MIXER!!! I'M THRILLED! MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS MY DEAR CANADIAN FRIEND FOR HER GIFT TO ME!

Yipee! Those are just as nice, I think! You have an abundance of energy, I believe, to be baking that many cookies every week! I do good to produce a couple dozen a month! Of course, your motive is greater than mine and I'm sure it is satisyfing to see the happy faces of those you give them to!
This blog of yours is the most fun thing-I get to see you guys nearly every day on postings. Your mixer looks 'heavy duty', the flowers are exotic, and the lady is beautiful-pretty is as pretty does. "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these, ye have done it unto me".
I love you.

Thank you Mom for your comment(s), this one made me cry. You are right, I'm making my 100 cookies each week for JESUS, as well as for our church people here in Colombia.
Love ya, Heather

How exciting, Heather! So happy for you. If I had to make that many cookies, I would be dead from eating too much dough! :-)

Heather, I am so glad you got your mixer! I remember the good old days of homebaked bread and cookies. I had a mixer and it was still a big job. Oh, for your energy! lol I read that Philip was sick. Praying he is better now. You are doing a great job on your blog. I love it! It brings you closer to home!
Love & Prayers, Connie
That looks like a great mixer, what a thrifty shopper. And you look great, that color looks so nice on you. I also noted the flowers and thought they looked very elegant. Blogging is so great, this is one way all your female friends can peek into your home and give you compliments and feedback on your hard efforts to make your place beautiful. You are an inspiration.
I'm so excited for you. You amaze me in what all you do. I'm sure those people look forward every week to eat your yummy treats!! I know I would. I just can't figure out how you stay so incredibly thin and bake all the time!!!! Please share your secret! Smile!!
Goodness! I can't believe you were doing all those by HAND!! I am so thankful God sent you a mixer, because my arm hurts just thinking about stirring all that!
