~Sarah's Baptism~

Have I mentioned lately how AWESOME all of you are?  THANK YOU for all your prayers (we can feel them) and all of your sweet comments!   =)
Thank you, Valerie, for your address...your card is in the mail though sadly it won't make it in time for your WOW meeting tonight. =(

Well, I have just a thing or two to do today, but I decided to write a post about the baptisms while I'm bouncing a sleeping baby Mary on my knee!   Thank you for praying, we had a very special day!  I'm posting a picture or two twenty for you to enjoy. =)
~Praise the Lord, Bro. Jimmy was able to get the price to go to the baptisms for only $15.00 per person.  That included the nearly 2 hour bus ride there and back, the entrance fee to the plantation where we had the baptisms, and the yummy lunch! (children 3 and under were free.)
We had the entire bus to ourselves.  We had a fun time riding on the bus as a church family (and some visitors), listening to beautiful hymns, and seeing pretty scenery...going to the baptisms.~
~Our DEAR Pastor and Wife...Bro. Jimmy and Sis. Farly!~
~Noah and his friend, Sarah and her friend Gaby.~
~Phillip, Mary, and very sleepy Heather...I finally got Mary (who has a cold) to sleep at 11:40 PM, and she woke up again at 2:00 AM, again at 3:00 AM and we had to get up at 4:00 AM to get everything packed and ready to be at the church by 6:00 AM.~
~Kimberly, her friend Nataly, "King" Elijah...sitting in that big bus seat by himself =)...and Bro. Edgar and Sis. Joanna.~
~Bro. Jimmy and Sis. Farly are always thinking of others!  They bought suckers (which is a VERY BIG thing here in Colombia) and passed them out to everyone on the bus!!  Here are Gaby and Sarah enjoying theirs.~
~Some beautiful Colombian scenery that we saw on the way.~

~Everyone walking down the hill to get to where the baptisms were going to be held.=)~
~The people sat on the steps while we were getting ready to start the service before the baptisms.~
~We sang some songs and the Lord helped Bro. Edgar to write a song for that special occasion.~
~The Lord helped Phillip as he gave a challenge to the ones getting baptized.~
~Our Special Sarah, and Phillip, and I.  (The red thing on my arm was the paper band the people at the plantation put on us to show that we had paid the entrance fee to be there.)
~Sarah and Gaby before they got baptized.~
~Sarah and Gaby with their Daddies...who got the honor of baptizing them.~
~The group of 7 who got baptized.  There were 2 couples in the group. Some are very new Christians.~
~Sarah giving her sweet testimony before she got baptized.  One thing she said was that she didn't want Jesus to have just part of her but ALL of her.  (Of course Sarah is all smiles...for she is "all smiles" in everything she does in life. =)
~III John 1:4 I have NO GREATER JOY than to hear that my children walk in truth!~
~Gaby giving her precious testimony.~
~The view from the plantation where we were.~
~The plantation had lots of fruit trees.  The fruit that Phillip is holding is a yummy fruit that is called "Guanabana" (Sour sop in English).  The Lord gave us a beautiful day and beautiful baptisms.~
~Thank you for your prayers as we try to get things done in these last few hours!
Moma and Laura, I wish y'all could come and bring a 1/2 dozen of the sweet ladies who read my blog to help me by:
helping with baby Mary, making sure I've used up the things in the freezer and refrigerator so they don't go bad (I usually give lots of things to Sis. Farly, but there's always things like cornmeal, whole wheat flour, and yeast in my freezer that are more for American recipes),  making meals while I pack, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, hanging it to dry, etc.  =)  Lord willing, Tomorrow is the day...~

Have prayed by the hour for sunshine to help dry all those wet clothes. I feel lonely that you are leaving us again. I guess it is because you are going further away. I wish too that I could be there to help. Love, Moma

PS Waiting to hear what God has done for you in Argentina.
