Noah's new bike,& a close-up of my new ann. shoes!

~NOAH WAITING FOR THE MAN TO PUT HIS TRAINING WHEELS ON HIS NEW, "BIG" BIKE!!~

NOAH IS THRILLED BEYOND MEASURE. MOST OF YOU WILL REMEMBER THAT HIS LITTLE BIKE BROKE A FEW WEEKS AGO. WELL, THE DAY AFTER HIS BIKE BROKE, I CALLED HIM TO DO SOMETHING...TAKE A NAP OR SOMETHING...AND HE SAID, "LET'S GO AND BUY ME A BIG BIKE, THEN TAKE A NAP." =) NOAH WAS DREAMING OF A NEW, BLUE, "BIG" BIKE!
ALSO, HE KEPT TALKING ABOUT GETTING A BIKE, AND SO I TOLD HIM TO PRAY FOR A BIKE...AND SO HE BOWED HIS LITTLE HEAD AND SAID SOMETHING LIKE, "JESUS THANK YOU THAT ....I MEAN PLEASE HELP JESUS TO GET ME A BIKE THAT'S NOT BROKEN...AMEN!!" IT WAS SOO CUTE!
THE NEXT DAY, SOME OF OUR DEAR FRIENDS FROM OHIO E-MAILED US THAT THEY WERE SENDING US SOME MONEY TO GET NOAH A NEW BIKE!! WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS WHAT THIS MEANS TO ME AS A MOMMY!!! SO LATER THAT WEEK, WE WENT AND BOUGHT A CUTE BIKE FOR NOAH. I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES AS I WRITE THIS, FOR NOAH IS SOOO EXCITED THAT GOD HAS ANSWERED HIS PRAYER AND THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE A BROKEN BIKE NOW! HE HAS A NICE, NEW BIKE =) WE ARE ASKING GOD TO RICHLY BLESS OUR FRIENDS THAT IT MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR NOAH TO HAVE HIS VERY OWN, "BIG-LITTLE" BIKE! =)

~Some of you were curious, and wanted to see a close-up of my new shoes that I got for our anniversary! There are a light blue leather, with a beige ribbon woven through the holes in the shoes. (I can change the ribbon when I want to!) Phillip knows me well enough to know that I would rather have a new pair of shoes, than anything else he could have gotten me! =) My skirt is one of the ones that Phillip got me in Ecuador for $2.50...and it matches perfectly with my new shoes. =)~
PRAISE THE LORD...MY PARENTS HAD PURCHASED A YEAR'S SUBSCRIPTION TO TASTE OF HOME FOR ME, BUT SO FAR, I'VE ONLY RECEIVED ONE ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN SAD, FOR MY APRIL/MAY ISSUE IS ABOUT 2 MONTHS LATE COMING. SO I HAVE BEEN ASKING JESUS TO PLEASE HELP ME TO GET A TASTE OF HOME MAG. WELL....TODAY, I DID NOT GET THE APRIL/MAY ISSUE (THAT'S HOPEFULLY STILL COMING MY WAY) BUT I GOT 2 OF THE JUNE/JULY ISSUES! YEA! THERE WAS SHOUTING IN THE CAMP WHEN I SAW A T.O.H. MAGAZINE HAD ARRIVED! =) GOD IS AWESOME!

I started laughing when I saw your shoes 'cause you are so sweet. I love them. Now, if only Noah can learn to ride-instead of push- his beloved big BLUE bike. Love, Mom/Dad Dickinson

Those shoes are adorable! I'm sure they put a smile in your step :) I don't suppose you wear heels to church anymore. That is an awesome sewing machine. Your girls will be spoiled when they have to get their own someday. ha There is nothing like a blessing like that to built your faith and confidence in God. So happy for Noal too. I watch the mail for my Making Memories magazine. You should subscribe to the Taste of Home magazine online to hold you over.

Your shoes are cute! If you wear them here in the US, you may start a fad....Awesome sewing machine and bike too!

I was thinking how nice technology is these days for missionaries. When we were in the DR 20 years ago we had no phone and snail mail. Really slow snail mail -- a letter would take several weeks to arrive. It's so nice you can stay in touch this way!

I love the shoes! They are so cute and I agree you could start a new fashion here!
I'm so happy for Noah and his new bike. It is so cute to hear the little ones pray for things. The innocence is unbelievable. My son Aaron prayed Jesus would stop the rain when we were at Kings Island for a day. He bowed his head and asked Jesus to please stop the rain since dad didn't have to work and we were at K.I. As soon as he was done praying he unfolded his hands and waved goodby to the rain. It was so sweet. About 15 min. later the rain stopped, and the first thing he did was bow his head and thank Jesus for it! Too many adults forget to do that on such simple things!

Thanks ladies for all your nice comments on my new shoes. They are VERY popular in Medellin, and they sold them in all different colors! I haven't seen them here in Bogota, but I haven't been shoe shopping here for months!

I hope that y'all are having a good day!!
Love, Heather =)

Noah is so cute and looks just like his daddy did at that age. I'm so glad God answered prayer for his bike. Our little ones need as much encouragement as they can get to serve the Lord. God bless the friends who made his bike possible.

LOVE the new shoes--I am a shoe gal, too, except these days I go more for comfort than looks. Is nice when I can get both!

Love you all.
