The other morning my family was out jogging and I was home with Mary. I wanted to do a fun breakfast for those out running, but didn't have a lot of time before they'd be coming home. So I quickly made French toast. Then for the "syrup" I opened a large can of peach halves. I took out a peach or two to cut into thin slices for the garnishes...then I blended the rest of the peaches and juice. I served that over the french toast, added a dollop of whipped cream, and a peach slice...and breakfast was ready. (You could serve some kind of breakfast meat on the side for some protein.) My family thought it was fun and yummy!
And as ALWAYS...Enjoy!

I follow you and read your blog often, I always enjoy what's going on with your family.
I am just a little curious about the Argentina visit - was there a reason that you had to leave Columbia or was there something specific that you had to do in Argentina?
Wow, simple but yummy-sounding! I will have to try this since my family also loves French Toast and peaches both! Sharon Knight
Thanks for your comment, Nelda, it was great hearing from you!
We are feeling like our time living here in Colombia is coming to a close. We will still visit Colombia and teach classes, pray for and encourage the believers here, but we don't want to "babysit the work" when the Nationals are growing and doing a good job. In thinking and praying about what God wanted next for our family...Phillip didn't feel like it was time for our family to go home to the USA permanently yet. So, He felt God lay Argentina on his heart! When we got to Argentina (knowing no one) Phillip didn't feel clear to just go and hold street meetings, etc. but felt that we were supposed to attend the local churches and help them any way we could. We tried to be lights to them and their young people regarding Holiness. Phillip spoke to the youth and we had them over to our house for a devotional and snack too. We invited several over trying to touch their lives. Lord willing, after we finish working on our Colombia visas here, we plan to go back to Argentina. There appears to be several open ministry doors there waiting for us to step through them.
We appreciate your prayers that God will continue to guide and use our family. =)

The french toast looks and sounds yummy. I like the simplicity of it. love you tons
Ooooh, that looks good, and I'm going to try that for my family. Thanks for the suggestion! =)
Sounds good, hope you planning to serve this recipe to us when we come . . . shall I bring the bacon! I remember on a trip to Tawain we took bacon and made soppy chocolate for the McElwains. I was afraid that customs would not let it in but it passed. Good memories with them but not including being left alone in a large dorm and having to cross a waterway and facing a snake across my only path about 5 inches in diameter and who knows how long as one end was covered with water on one side of the path and the other with water on the other side of my only way across. When I said, "Oh dear, now what do I do now", the snake must have not have understood English with a southern accent and ran away. You can believe that I did some high stepping over that spot of the path. By the way I am too old for such adventure now, so keep things calm in Colombia. Now Daddy and I are counting the hours! I Love you, Moma
looks yum!
