~Some time in the park~

~After we took our family pics...we let the kids play in the park for a few minutes before CROWDING into a taxi and going to the North to work on our visa papers.  The kids LOVE this park...and were thrilled to see that they had added a FUN HUGE sandbox by the lake! =)~

~It was a WARM day and Sarah, Noah, and Elijah were HAPPY to find that the lake had overflowed under the swings. =)~
~Kimberly enjoy the swings.~
~Melanie looking at the lake~
~Me...enjoying watching the kids play~
~Mary...taking it all in.~
~Sarah, Noah, and Elijah had fun playing on this fallen log.~
~After the Lord helped us to get a month's extension on our Col. visa papers..we went and enjoyed a yummy lunch of Shrimp and rice, salad, french fries, and all the juice we could drink.~
~Eating lunch~
~Then because the kids had only played for a few minutes at the park...and since it was Friday...we took them back to that park and they had a blast!~

~This is what you call..."LONGING!!!" (Phillip is eating a snow cone and Elijah is drooling while he awaits his turn! =)
~Eating snow cones....in the rain!  But Thank the Lord...it quit and the kids got to play some more.  When we got home we all looked like BURNT LOBSTERS...for since Bogota is on the Equator...the sun is POTENT here!~
~Noah and Elijah loved "digging" in the sand with this dog.  He was the "Digging-est Dog you have ever seen!" =)~
~If you look closely you can see the SAND in the air in this picture.~
~Melanie, Kimberly, Mary and I just hanging around.~
~One EXHAUSTED ELIJAH after a long fun busy day!~

Is it that cool there right now? I noticed one of your daughters was wearing what looked like a winter coat while almost everyone else had one jackets also.

Thank you, everyone, for your nice comments! I love hearing from you! =)

Mrs. Dorcas, Yes...we are at nearly 9,000 ft. above sea level so it's chilly here. When the sun is out it is WARM (for the sun is more direct since we are near the equator) but as soon as the sun goes under a cloud it gets CHILLY! So, we almost always carry a jacket with us...for one has to be prepared! =)

Hi Heather! I had no idea you had a blog, I enjoyed perusing it to see how many kids you have and how they have grown...it is amazing to think that Kimberly has grown up so much - seems like she was just a baby not too long ago. Say hi to Phillip as well. neldacnm at yahoo

Looks like you all had fun! So glad! I'm sure it seems a little different getting a sunburn, the same day you have to wear a jacket. =) Blessings on you all!!

Don't you just love it when the kids are tuckered out from playing so hard? That sand looks so appealing! I think I would have enjoyed that visit to the park, too. :)
