~In 2005/2006 when we were in Costa Rica learning Spanish there were a couple girl students from Sweden who attended our school too. One day they made this recipe and brought some to me for a gift to thank me for a food treat that I had given them. We enjoyed them so much that I asked Paula and Sarah for their recipe. The other night I found their recipe and made them and we enjoyed having them again. It's a fast easy recipe that calls for ingredients we all normally have on hands.~
~Swedish Choc. Balls~
1 1/2 sticks of butter or marg.
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups raw oats
4 Tab. cocoa
1 teas. vanilla
4 T. prepared Cold coffee
Mix together. Make balls and roll in sprinkles, chopped nuts, coconut, or powdered sugar.
Store in refrigerator
And as always...ENJOY! =)

Heather,
The recipe I wish I could have is your Oatmeal Raisin Cookie recipe that Kimberly and Melanie used when they made cookies for your church people a Sunday or two ago.
I am not real happy with the oatmeal raisin cookie recipes I have on hand.
Thanks bunches,
Mom D
Those look delicious and seem easy to make!! Yummy!!
I saw this recipe last night and made it today for a quick Sunday dessert. MMMM it was a hit! Thanks! ~Carla~
Your recipe looks good, I presume that I must use the quick oats as there does not seem enough moisture to handle the old fashioned rolled ones that I use to cook? Thanks for sharing the recipes. I made the gibs cookies for "welcome treat" for today's visitors at church. They were a real hit. (I don't think anyone could miss it with those cookies) Will have to try these as they look good and easy. Love, Moma
