~Fun Food Friday...Peach Pancakes~

For those of you who prayed for a house for Bro. Jimmy and family, the Lord answered your prayers this week!! =)
Thank you for your nice comments on our living room. As you may recall we lost our living room furniture and our comfortable chair that was in our bedroom to mold.

~The other day I was at  a friend Laura's blog and saw this recipe.  I made it for my family and it was a HIT!  They are yummy Hearty pancakes that aren't too sweet.~
~Peach Pancakes~
1 can of peach slices with juice
1/2 cup cream, 1/2 and 1/2, or milk (one of your choice)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1.5 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar packed
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. ginger
3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Blend the peaches with juice in a blender. Stir in cream and eggs. Set aside.
In a large bowl combine flours, brown sugar, baking powder, spices, and 1 tsp. salt. Add peach mixture. Stir until moistened.
Pour 1/4 cup batter onto hot buttered griddle; spread to 4-inch circle. Cook 1 to 2minutes per side.
(It makes about 15 pancakes)

Heat 1 T. butter with maple syrup just until melted and warm and pour over pancakes.
(I, Heather, added the peach on top for fun.=)
Enjoy!

~One day Mary was sleeping on my lap and looked so sweet.  It was hard to try to get a picture of her from my angle, but I wanted to at least try.~

~Our "bedroom suite" is where our whole family ends up hanging out in the evenings.  So, we decided to get a small comfy loveseat/bed instead of a single chair.  God helped us find a great deal on it.  =)

Mmmm - those pancakes look good! And I love the way that loveseat looks in your room =) It matches great! Your living room looks so pretty, too - you really have a way with making things come together!

Sweet little Mary. Aren't you glad you had her? After they get here you wonder how life could be complete without them.
