#1 Mary slept for nearly 8 hours straight...for the first time in MONTHS! =D
#2 My July Better Homes and Gardens magazine came in! [I'm relieved every time one of my BHG magazines arrives...for that means someone didn't steal my mail. I only received ONE Taste Of Home during the whole YEAR of Aug. 2010-Aug.2011!! =( ]
Thankfully, some dear friends are sending me TOH on-line...so I'm sure to get my magazine now. =)
To quote Anne of Green Gables...
"God is in His Heaven...all is Right with the World." =)
(All may not be right with our world...but since God is His Heaven...We know that He is Still in Control.=)

~Chocolate Fondue...for you! =)~
Just melt some chocolate chips with some milk (1 cup of choc. chips per 4 T. of milk) and then serve this with whatever you desire to dip into the chocolate. I used marshmallows, apple slices, strawberries, and cubes of orange cake. (Other ideas would be pineapple, pear slices, pretzels, etc.) I used wooden skewers to dip our fruit. (I've also heard of using small pretzel sticks as the skewers.) I don't have one of those neat fondue servers to keep it hot, so I boiled some water and placed it in a bowl under my tray to keep the choc. hot. But...if your family eats it like mine did...the chocolate goes so fast it doesn't have time to get cold. =)
And as Always...Enjoy!
