Thanks, Janelle, for your nice comment. It was so fun hearing from you. Yes, I feel like I know you, from hearing about you and your wedding from Moma. You must be a very special girl, for I can tell that Moma thinks so. =)

Each of you are welcome to leave a comment anytime...comments make my world go around...(along with my Sweetheart, our 5 children, hot yummy drinks, baking, etc. =)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~With just 12 days until Thanksgiving, and not much more time to decorate for FALL, I wanted to show you something that Kimberly just made.  Aren't these the CUTEST leaves~
~She made some for her room, and I begged her to make these for ours. =) ~

*She used scrapbook paper (and on hers she used pages from a book)
*She traced a Leaf cookie cutter
*She crushed egg shells that she had washed inside and out.
*Put a strip of glue all around the edge of the leaf
*Then sprinkled the egg shells all around the edges of the leaves
*Hot glued the leaves to a rope.....
~AND VOILA...You have cute little creative leaves that add a fun Fall touch! =) ~
~And here's Kimberly's Fun leaves she made for her room.  The egg shell idea is original with Kimberly.~
I hope you are inspired!  I'd love for you to leave me a comment if you decide to make these leaves...or just about how you've been Creative lately.  =)

Neat idea, Kimberly. You definitely have your Daddy's artistic ability. Looking forward to having you come home and share more closely with us, but then I think of what you are doing and lives you are touching and feel selfish to want you home. So glad that God is using you to brighten lives both in Colombia and where ever you are. I love you, Gram

Dearest Heather,
Hi! Wow, I sure have missed a lot of goings on! Ive been busy with school latey, so i haven't had time to stop by and "chat", but here I am!
Those leaves are the cutest things! I'll have to try that myself! Thanks for the idea! And Happy Birthday Heather! You are a special person to a lot of us!!!!! I love your boots sooooo happy for you! I'm also getting ready to start potty training here with Karis, so I guess we are in the same "pot". Hope it all goes well. Glad the pot luck went well and you did so well on the decor! Kimberly did a great job on that cake! We are praying for souls for your labor there in S Amarica! Love, Hannah Klunder

Kimberly, I just heard from a note from your Mommy that the egg shell idea was yours! Good thinking, we are pleased to have you as a Granddaughter. M-a-y-b-e you inherited your artistic ability from a "Gram" that loves you very much! ;-)

Heather, your last several posts have been just as cute and as interesting as can be! I am so busy with Camp Meeting preparation that I've been unable to stop and comment on each. Kimberly Anna, I am SO HAPPY that you gave your life to Jesus when you were 3 years old. He made such a change in your life! Now, you are a submissive little homemaker who is beautiful in spirit and in deeds. Jesus has the very best children in his great big family, among whom you are one. I LOVE your beautiful creations that get posted on here occasionally. Your cakes, these leaves, and then, ALL the behind the scenes work that you do to help your mother and family. I WISH all of the young people of this world could be as you are. We would have a different world around us. But you are part of the group of single examples "among whom ye shine as lights in the world". You are a "love slave" for Jesus and your parents. You are so beautiful to me. Love, Grandma with the pink door

PS - I tried to fix this "love slave" sentence to say, You are a "love slave" for Jesus and your family, but I could not figure out how to change it. This comment section drives me 'bonkers"!

The leaf garland is beautiful, Kimberly! At first I thought it was glitter on the edges. Very creative!

I thought she had put glitter around the edges! Very neat idea! I have been making pillar candle holders from goblets. I actually started an Etsy store to sell them in, some of my family and friends think that I could make a little money from them, but it's something fun for me to do! You can view them here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/KuhnKreations?ref=si_shop Happy, Happy Belated Birthday! I so enjoyed looking at the pics from your birthday celebration.
