~Happy Valentine's Day, Phillip~

Thank you to all of you who read my VERY long Love story Posts and to those who left comments too! =)
Here's just a P.S. to our love story.  =)
`My friend sent me this picture last night, so I thought I'd include it in my Valentine's post today.  This picture was taken around our 1st wedding anniversary.  We, along with my sister Laura, and her husband Daryl and their (then very young) girls Natasha and Brittany, drove to Alaska that summer.  We have a PILE full of FUN memories from our summer in AK with our family!!
~Phillip and Heather  Alaska 1996~
As you know...after this picture was taken in 1996...God BLESSED our home with 5 PRECIOUS children whom we LOVE dearly!!!  Phillip pastored in AZ, then God called us to be missionaries in 2004.  We studied Spanish in Costa Rica for one year, and have worked in Colombia for 5 1/2 years, and now several months here in Argentina.

I have a nice Valentine, Phillip is his name.
Each year My Valentine is always the same!
One day he came along and stole my heart you see,
Then in June '95, I became "Mrs. D."  =)

He's the best Man a lady could ever get!
Life with him is "Heaven" and I'm not UP THERE yet! =)
How I THANK THE LORD for bringing us together!
I think you are awesome, Phillip, and I LOVE YOU--- ~Heather~

I hope each of you have a Happy Valentine's Day!
We each know how to love because God first LOVED us!  =)

Sweet, "No PEEKIN'" Pic! I love it! Bryan was looking at our wedding pics the other day and I jokingly covered up the one of us kissing, saying, "Don't Look, We're Kissin!" His reply?! "Why? I think it's Cool!"=)
Love ya, Laura
P.S. Was this your P.S. to your sweet love story, or do we wait for another! =)

I've SO enjoyed reading your story! so sweet =) I love all of the pics, too. And I had the very same denim dress you're wearing in that first picture :) That was the year I graduated high school. I met my sweetie the next year, and we got married in 98. Maybe I should tell our little story sometime, too :) Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Dad and I are so happy that Phillip and you are happily married. One of the saddest things to bear would be having a son or daughter who is unhappily married.
Also, it is wonderful to have the love of God shed abroad in one's heart which helps us to ...suffer long and be kind, charity envieth not; is not puffed up. Seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; beareth all things,...endureth all things.
And God first loved us with his divine, perfect, holy, pure, love; which he imparts to us. And that love imparted to our hearts is what gives us the days of "heaven on earth".
Dad and I are sincerely grateful for the life of holiness that Phillip and you are endeavoring to live for Jesus on the mission field. It brings boundless joy to our hearts.
What a delightful Love Story this was to read, although, I remember some of the times of heart grief, the longings, the times of separation, some misunderstandings, the times of getting acquainted, and other trauma that was endured during your courtship. I guess true love has its pains, no matter how glorious it is. Yet...HOW GLORIOUS IT IS! SMILE!
With gratefulness to Jesus for giving Phillip and you to each other. Love, Mom D

Yes, Dee, back then Phillip must have thought that one was NOT to smile for pictures. ;-)

THANK YOU for all of your fun comments...it's been great hearing from all of y'all!

Now, I wonder just what that book is hidin'?!?!?! Cute pose and nice cheery outfit. It is wonderful that there are ladies that dress as "daughters of the King"; dress to honor Him! Enjoyed your story and the happy ending. Love, Moma

PS That was a wonderful summer in AK together, thanks to Andrew and Vonnie for making it possible. Just wish that Link and Lyn had not been in TN having a baby and could have joined us! Kelsea has been worth it though!

Loved reading your love story! That's awesome! My husband and I had a miscommunication at the very beginning of our relationship (before we were dating) but we got it worked out and laugh about it now! So glad God led me to him, he's been a steady rock for me.
