Saw this idea on Pinterest. Take tuna cans, (I washed and BLEACHED them) then take off the paper and cover them with a pretty paper. I don't have any Scrapbook paper with me (And HOW I have missed MY SCRAPBOOK PAPER!!)...~
~but Thankfully my sweet Sarah got me this pad for part of my Christmas gift, and I use it for everything! =) So, we cut the tops off this pretty paper and glued them around my tuna cans NEW candle holders! =D~
~The party store here is NOT "Party City"!!! They only have the BASIC colored plates, but I was THRILLED to find this pinky-purplish colored plate there! A Miracle. =)~
~My Flower "Vase" holding my real flowers...is a bottle that some juice came in. I loved the colors of the tag...so decided to use it as part of my decor. =)~
~The bottle is made by Coca Cola.~
~Here we are around the table. L to R: Me, Valeria, Victor, Phillip, Mary, and Sarah.
I served Chicken and rice casserole, Kimberly made us a yummy Colombian cabbage/fruit salad, Focaccia bread (I made a new recipe that my sister gave me), corn, and buttered noodles.~
~My Focaccia Bread~
~Sweet Valeria and I enjoying our yummy Colombian coffee that Phillip made for us. =)~
~The scarf I'm wearing was a Birthday gift from A. Jolie for Kimberly. I love the combo of the lace and floral fabric. So fun and so feminine.=)~
~Victor made Noah some really cool airplanes that fly well! =)~
~Valeria and Victor are expecting their first little baby in May! (We gave them a few baby gifts for their baby boy.) We had such a nice visit with them. They brought ice cream...which we all enjoyed with my Coca Cola cake after my dinner. =)
Please pray for Valeria and Victor, and little "Emmanuel" as they cross your mind.~
We had more company over on Sunday afternoon. I'll post those pics soon.

Heather, I did wonder where on earth you'd found different table decorations than I'd ever seen on your table before. Your creativity has shocked me once again! I mean that table setting is so pretty!
It is wonderful how you can make such beauty out of so very little material. I love your thriftiness mixed with sheer creativity.
Before it's time to do the dishes from all the company you've had, your children must think every day is Vacation Bible School craft day.
And, thank goodness for the helpers in the background who help you get these pretty shows on the road.
I imagine that Valeria and Victor really did enjoy themselves. And, that's nice!
Love, Mom D
Once again, you're amazing! I have been so out of touch with blogs the last few weeks. I am definitely gonna enjoy reading back through your posts from January. Blessings on you guys!

Very pretty table. Love the can candles.
Thanks for allowing us to peak in on another table and some dinner guests. I loved your candle holders and would not have guessed what they "used to be." Very clever. Glad that you explained the juice bottle and showed proof that it was made by coca cola! ;-) Neat idea and a lovely white tray too. I love you, Moma
I've been catching up on your life and enjoying it so! I love how you make life special for your sweet family and so many others.
Blessings,
Pamela
Hi Heather, I love your pretty table decor and admire your ability to make "something" out of "nothing". :) I don't get on the computer as much since my laptop broke...the desktop computer is s.l.o.w.--and I can get Facebook on my cell phone. But when I do I like to catch up with you and your family. Love you guys and continue to pray for you all. Love, Aunt E.
