~Elijah's hospital pics!~

Well...here I am posting for the 3rd time today. (This blog really HELPS my heart to get to "talk" to all of y'all. =) The Lord provided the BEST of hotels...Bro. Jimmy, Sis. Farly, and Sis. Sofia (Jimmy's Mom) came and got the kids and I and our suitcases and we are going to stay with them for right now. Isn't God good? I'm writing from their house.
Please pray about the hospital bills. Since we don't have insurance in this country, and we are Americans, they could take advantage of us. The whole world thinks that all Americans are made out of money! Please just pray that they charge us what is right and not overcharge us. Thank you!
The Lord gave me such a sweet visit with our little Elijah and Phillip this morning. It was sad to see him with all his boo boos, and not feeling well, but I was soooo GLAD to get to see him and know that he is getting help. He looks pretty cheerful in these picutres because he was trying to be happy, but I could tell that he didn't feel well at all.
~As soon as he saw me he showed me his IV and said, "It hurts, Mommy!" Having just had 2 IVs recently (Baby and my ER visit) I know that it DOES hurt. It made my heart soooooo sad! In each of these pictures he is saying, "Cheese" and trying to smile...inspite of how he felt. What a little sweety!~
~His lunch was rice, green beans, soup, platain, a meatball, and juice.
He was STARVING...because yesterday he couldn't eat much due to not being able to breathe.~
~What a SWEET Daddy Elijah has. (I have good taste, for I chose him. =) Phillip has been by his side, crying when he cries, praying hard, sleeping in hard straight back chairs, etc. I WANT to be with Elijah, but I don't know if I could bear up under all they have to do to him to help him get better.~
~The whole time I was there he kept saying, "WHYJAH HOLD YOU". He didn't want me to put him down at all. =( When Phillip calls me Elijah wants to talk to me and tells me he wants to see me and go bye-bye...in other words leave the hospital. Talk about tearing my heart out.~

~I sat by Elijah and rubbed his hair and sang to him PRAYING THAT GOD WOULD HELP HIM FALL ASLEEP! For I knew that My Mommy's heart would NOT be able to leave him if he was crying for me. Praise the Lord he fell sound asleep and then I slipped out.~
~2 Great men...one who is hurting physically, and the other who's heart HURTS!
Thank you for your prayers. The doctor's are trying to decide whether to send Elijah to another hospital or what to do. Please pray that God will guide as to what is best. They won't let Elijah go until his cough and his infection in his lungs is better.
On the way to Bro. Jimmy's house we saw a house for rent. Jimmy is supposed to look at it tomorrow. Pray that God will guide us!
There are not words to tell you how much your COMMENTS and PRAYERS mean to us! May
God bless each of you! Hugs to all our family and friends whom we wish were here with us. =)

What a wonderful pastor and wife that you have there in Colombia!
What a sweet little boy and how my arms ached to hold him and rest Phillip. That little Elijah has posed for his photographic Mommy so much that he can even say cheese with his oxygen on! :-( Great Grandma Bryan says that he looks like her, now! Again the Lord has been good and how we thank Him. When I believed that God would give you a house yesterday I wondered if God might be going to take a different route to find it. Somehow, I kept feeling that He was working even while the workings made our hearts ache. Praying for your every step as you follow your Hubby and you both follow Jesus. I just listened to the wedding song your Daddy wrote and sang to you on your wedding day and wondered again at his prophetic words "Hand and hand they'll go, running down the aisle, they're going to reap the long whitened fields!" And then that final line, he sang the words that Phillip promised us that night he asked for your hand, "I want God to help me, "to love her as Christ loved the church", you have lived up to that promise, Son, at home and abroad and we love you for it. Daddy and Moma

So very thankful that you have people you can trust and feel "safe" with...that is surely a blessing.
We continue to pray and spread the word to people we know to pray. Elijah's name is bombarding Heaven, Heather! As well as prayer for your whole family. God is with you.

Woke up praying for you this morning and our boys have been praying for you during family worship. As a mommy I can only imagine the hurt and so I pray God's healing - to your heart and Elijah's body. So thankful you were able to get out of the house! May you sense God's peace today, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Blessings, Marianne

Heather, tears filled my eyes as I read your post...my momma heart feels for you. We will continue to pray for all of you. I am assuming the asthma was triggered by the mold? We will be praying that God will lead you to the right home quickly.

Dearest Heather and Family,
How your hospital pics made us cry! We ALL miss you all SOOOOO badly and then to see you all hurting makes it so much harder. Selfish I know, but it's easier not to miss you so badly when things are brighter for you. You are in our prayers CONSTANTLY! How thankful we are that the safest place for you is in the center of His will, even in the hardest of times, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! PTL!!!
Love you sister, Laura and family
