~Just Think of Stepping on Shore and Finding it Heaven...of Touching a Hand and finding it God's...~

~Brent and Patricia~
~Anthony and Caroline~
Yesterday morning we received the most SHOCKING email from the Mom of a life-long friend Patricia Miller Bigger! I was so shocked that I yelled out "NO!!!!!" while I was reading it and then began to weep!

Dear Family and Friends,
Most of you have already received the word that last night Patricia
and her children stepped into Heaven, as the result of an accident. They were coming home from a day trip when their van slid off a mountain road into water.
I felt like sharing these pictures as they are such a picture of the happy family they were.
We have no doubt that she and the children are now enjoying the wonders of heaven; our hearts just ache for Brent, in the loss of his family.
God is the Lord of all mercy and comfort, and we certainly feel surrounded by love and prayers. Am so glad we were with Patricia's family New Year's Day.

Love, Roberta

I haven't been able to get them off my mind today, and I don't want to so I can keep praying for Brent and her family. So sad! I went to school with Brent at HSBC, but had never met Patricia. Thanks for sharing the letter and pictures.

Heather, that same song went through my mind this morning when I thought about this dear mother and her children stepping from this side into heaven. I didn't know them, but my heart is sad for the family and I will be praying for them.

I didn't know this family, but know friends of them. I have been praying for Brent since hearing about the tragedy. Only God knows why things like this happen, but I'm sure it is a comfort to their family and friends that they are enjoying Heaven's splendor. I will continue to pray that God will be with all who knew them in a real and special way, especially wth Brent. I can't imagine what he must be going through!

What a tragedy! I don't know any of these people, but my heart sure does go out to their loved ones. I will be praying! It sure pays to be ready, we just never know when our time will come. May GOD the source of all comfort and hope, sustain each one through the coming days!

This news has just been so heartbreaking. We all need to pray for each other...and you, my friend, are certainly an example of doing that.

Praying for your housing issues.

Thanks for posting about this. Brent was in my freshman class at Hobe Sound, but I didn't know Patricia. I cannot imagine the grief he is feeling. The funeral and services are really hard to endure so he needs extra prayer today and this week.

Heather, your post shows your grief. As you know our friendship with the Millers goes back a long way and Daddy and I feel we have lost a daughter and two grandones. God has entrusted some very special people in our lives with untold grief. Our hearts ache with them. Love, Moma

I apologize that you found you had to delete my comment. I just really wanted to know that he was okay. I think you must have misunderstood. If you read their local newspaper online and the comments, you'd see what I mean. It's a very sad situation, and I'm sorry he has to deal with what other people are saying - that is untrue. I dont' know him, but I believe in him 100%.
