Prayer still needed ~ Noah Quotes! =)

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THE LITTLE ONE MONTH OLD BABY (Michael David)...THINGS ARE NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR HIM...BUT GOD IS STILL GOD AND IS ABLE TO HEAL HIM (IF IT'S HIS WILL) AND TO SAVE HIS PARENTS!! ~THANKS~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our Noah has gotten into his head that he WANTS A BLUE SKATE BOARD!! I have no clue where he even heard of one...except that occasionally there is a guy or two riding one at the park! Tonight, we were praying for that little one-month old baby...and praying for our snack that we were going to eat, and Noah asked if he could pray...and this was his prayer!
"Oh God, I'm a Big Boy that Loves to ride a skate board...BUT MY MOMMY WON'T GET ME ONE...AMAAAAN!!!" (He always says that word (A-men) with the most SOUTHERN DRAWL you have ever heard in your life! =)
~Our Sweet Noah~
One morning we were sitting around our table as a family and PRAISING GOD...we were praying, and crying and feeling so blessed! We finished praying and I started the song "Praise God from whom all blessings flow!" We sang that with tears running down our cheeks...THEN NOAH (Who was too young to understand God's presence and the SERIOUSNESS OF THE MOMENT) PIPES UP AND SAYS, "NOW, WE'RE GONNA SING "OH MY DARLING!" =)
~Kimberly & Sarah LOVE their baby brother, HE THINKS HE GETS "LOVED" TOO MUCH! =)~
Most of you may have heard this story...but we had a DISASTER on our VERY FIRST DAY in our new house that we were renting here in Colombia (WITH LIGHT COLORED PAINT THAT WE WERE TOLD WE HAD TO KEEP NICE, OR REPAINT THE WHOLE HOUSE BEFORE WE MOVED!!). I was busy organizing my kitchen (WHERE I "LIVE", for I'm in that room more than I am any other room in the house!!!=) When all of the sudden Kimberly yelled down to me, "MOMMY, NOAH JUST WROTE ON SOME WALLS WITH A BLUE CRAYON!" I mounted the stairs with DREAD in my heart and Sure enough...he had done HUGE "ARTWORK" on 8 WALLS! UGH! So we scolded him and told him how SAD we were over what he had done, and to NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! WE EVIDENTLY IMPRESSED ON HIS LITTLE MIND HOW S-A-D it REALLY WAS, for the next morning, Noah (our early riser) came into our room and STOPPED by some of his "ARTWORK" and just stood there STARING at it for a LONG TIME, then I heard him whisper to himself..."SAD...SO SAD!" =) (THANKFULLY WE WERE ABLE TO WASH THE CRAYON MARKS OFF OF THE WALLS...AND YES...NOAH HELPED SCRUB! =)
~HERE'S PROOF...And these are just 2 of the 8 WALLS WITH NOAH'S ARTWORK!~
I wish I could give all your beautiful children a big hug right now I really miss them. Noah is getting so big!! Tell him to keep praying because Zach's mommy finally let him have a skateboard!!! I'm still not sure that was a good idea!
That is so cute! We are still praying for the baby. I can just hear Noah saying those things!
I wonder where he gets the Southern accent!
Heather, I must admit that the cmments Noah makes reminds me of several that my children have come up with and I find myself walking down memory lane! Thanks for sharing!
lol! How funny! But, I also know how bad it was. My artists were the twins. It must be something about the last child. It worked out for you.
"It's spring, it's spring, the bird is on the wing. My word, absurd, the wing is on the bird." This poem reminds me of your Noah who keeps busy doing one thing or another. He is certainly the joy of your lives. And, he was so much fun and entertainment when he was here with you guys at Christmas. Love, Mom/Dad Dickinson
