~Phillip & Kimberly are Home!!~

~Phillip preaching IN THE RAIN~

My honey is home, YI-PEE!
My honey and my Kimberly!
We are so HAPPY to have them home,
That I decided to write this lil' poem!

Jesus gave me such a nice man...
I try to love and spoil him all I can!
For if I love and obey him, you see,
Then he's a HAPPY him, and I'm a HAPPY ME! =)

Well, I did not post that Phillip and KIMBERLY have been gone to Medellin this week. Phillip preaches on the street there, in front of a soup kitchen, so that his audience is a CAPTIVE audience...they may not want to hear preaching...but they want to EAT...so they stay in line. =)
~Some of the people that were listening!~

There are several contacts there that are very excited about Phillip coming there once a month to preach...and they are looking for a building to hold their meetings when he comes. God has also given Phillip a "Timothy" to help him minister to the people when he's not there. God is working in Medellin! I did not want the WHOLE WORLD knowing that the kids and I were alone here! (For there are some creeps out there!) I was dying for y'all to know so that you would know how to pray...but God was with us! It was not EASY saying Goodbye to Phillip and Kimberly...especially since we had the KIND OF SUNDAY WE HAD! (See post below for more details!) I had a hard time at nights, trying to not think about the what ifs of us being alone...and then remembering looking into the DEAD face of that precious little baby Michael David...I would have to turn on music and PRAY and PRAISE to try to not get to scared! =) (PLEASE DO KEEP PRAYING FOR MICHAEL DAVID AND HIS PARENTS...HE'S NOT DOING WELL! PRAY THAT GOD WILL COMFORT, SUSTAIN, SAVE AND HEAL THIS HURTING BABY AND FAMILY! THANKS!)
The first morning, God gave me this verse out of the promise box that helped take away my fear:
~In God have a I put my trust: I will NOT be afraid. Psalm 56:11~

On Wednesday morning the verse was:
~Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee. Psalm 55:22~

Today the verse was:
~Hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Num. 23:19~
Thanks Mom D. for giving us this promise box...it helps, and encourages us sooo MUCH!
Phillip decided to take turns taking our children with him to Medellin for he HATES being away from His family. Our kids are soooo excited about these ministry trips with Daddy. Kimberly takes after me, and so she was "jumping up and down happy"about the trip. =) God has helped them and they came home EARLY this morning, at 4:00 AM! We are happy to have them HOME! =)
~Phillip & Kimberly in the neighborhood where he preaches~

Since we just got the girls school books in January (long story) Kimberly took PACES with her to work, and Sarah and I have WORKED HARD to get 10 Paces done in JUST 3 DAYS! She's been a TROOPER! We'd like to be finished by June 2nd, for that is when we are planning on having a Kindergarten graduation for her here in our home, and back yard! She's excited. =)

I'm breathing a sigh of relief with you at the return of your family. I so relate. Marc is planning a trip to our church in San Rafael next weekend and Jordan is going with him. He's so excited!

You're in my thoughts and prayers today.
