~Cappuccino Muffins~

~Taste of Home Cappuccino Muffins~
(I just made these and they are good! =)
In large bowl, mix together:
2 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 teas. baking powder
1 1/2 teas. cinnamon
3/4 teas. salt
1/2 teas. baking soda
In Med. sized bowl mix together until coffee is dissolved:
1 egg
1 1/3 cup buttermilk (I made my own w/ 1 1/2 Tab. vinegar & the 1 1/3 c. milk! Mix together, and let stand for a few minutes, before mixing in the rest of the ingred.)
3 Tab. oil
4 1/2 teas. instant coffee granules
2 teas. vanilla
Add the liquids with the dry ingred. and stir just until moistened.
Use 12 chocolate kisses to hide inside the muffins, OR I LIKED STIRRING CHOC. CHIPS INTO THE BATTER...YUM! (for the muffin was a little dry, but with moist choc. chips each bite...it was delicious!)
Topping: cinn/sugar
Place dough into muffin cups (can place a little dough and then a hershey kiss, then more dough to cover it, or just put the dough with the choc. chips in the muffin cups). Sprinkle the tops lightly with cinn/sugar and bake at 425 for 16-20 minutes, or until toothpick is clean!
Makes about 12 YUMMY muffins! =) ~BEST IF SERVED WARM~

~These are the sweaters that Phillip bought for he and I in Ecuador~

How in this world do you stay so attractively thin baking all of those delicious sweets?!
You are so fortunate...or I should probably say, so disciplined! Glad to meet up with you through the world of blog! I see your family card on many church bulletin boards! What a lovely, attractive & happy looking family!
We held a meeting in Crandall, Georgia last Fall and our son had the most fun playing with your "best cousin's" little girl!
God's Best to you all!

You are so creative and interesting with this blog site, Heather. I love reading your posts. (I wonder if I am prejudiced?) Your sweaters are unique and pretty, and your muffins make me want to eat some, badly. I decided even if I am prejudiced, you are good at coming up with a lot of different ideas. Love, Mom/Dad Dickinson

Thanks for the awesome recipe! I was wondering the same thing as Nicole....

About violin...Yes, everyone holds it on the same side - as you said. I have only seen one exception of this in my lifetime and he was a sort of side show at Dollywood.

As for coaching, don't really know what you know about playing the violin. I would be glad to give you a great list of ideas that could help a lot and maybe avoid some bad habits forming before you find another teacher. If you want it, let me know. Too long for a comments section. smile.

A Spanish-speaking teacher would be a challenge, but what an opportunity for your kids! We are working on our kids' Spanish, but it's a lot harder when they aren't surrounded by it. Some of that will chang soon in Frankfort, I guess.
