~The kid's 5K race for Matthew 25 for the Hungry!~

Kimberly has always wanted to run a 5K.  One day while we were on the way to her violin lesson we saw this truck....

~So, Kimberly, Sarah, and Noah signed up to run the 5K for the hungry, and they got 3 of their friends from their church to join them.~

 ~It was so FUN to see Sweet Sherry and her Sweet girls!!~

 ~What a surprise.  Sherry and her girls have run this race for 6 years in a row!!~

 ~All ready for the race...except Scott wasn't in the picture.~

 ~and here they GO.....~

 ~Sarah walked by herself. :-(  Had I not just had a miscarriage, I could have walked with her.~

 ~Phillip, Elijah, Mary, Abigail, and I stood near the Finish Line and CHEERED ON NEARLY EVERYONE THAT CAME IN WITH:

EXCELLENT JOB!!!
YOU ARE ALMOST THERE!!
YOU HAVE BASICALLY MADE IT!!!
GREAT JOB!!!
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

I told Phillip that this is what people in Heaven are doing for us Christians.  
Cheering us on...telling us we are almost Home, Keep up the Faith, Keep CLOSE TO JESUS, Don't give in to the world or worldly pleasures/dress/music, etc.
It brought tears to our eyes just thinking of our 
"CLOUD OF WITNESSES" Cheering us HOME TO HEAVEN!!!  
WE MUST MAKE IT!!
IT WILL BE WORTH IT ALL WHEN WE SEE JESUS!

 ~Here come Kimberly, Zack, and Scott.~

 ~Here comes Sarah...and RaeQuelle, Noah, Elijah, and Mary joined her in running that last little bit~

 ~Then we all went inside and had yummy pizza or hamburgers, salad, veggie sticks, drinks, ....and other sweet goodies.~

 ~Like the yummy CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN...with strawberries, pineapple, pretzels, etc. to dip into it.~

 ~And they had cotton candy too.~

 ~Scott being silly...acting like he's holding his mate.~

 ~So, Kimberly loaned him hers for the picture. :-) ~

~They got lots of non-perishable food and raised lots of cash to help feed the Hungry!!
