Recently as we were heading to church on a Sunday morning, this man passed us and said, "HELLO, PASTOR!"
He then turned around and began walking along with us, chatting with Phillip.
I walked on ahead with the kids, and was looking forward to asking Phillip where he knew us from.
When Phillip joined our family again, and I asked him where the man knew us from, Phillip said that HE HAD NO CLUE where the man knew us from. :-)
A few days later Phillip met up with him again and invited him to our Sunday night Holiness meeting in our home.
He came and we had a nice service and meal together!
Please keep Fabian in your prayers.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to y'all!! :-)
Yesterday was Mother's day here in Argentina. So, my family was a DEAR and celebrated me TWICE this year! :-)
Wow! We might just have to make this a tradition, and have 2 Mother's day Every Year! ;-)
I can handle receiving chocolates from our 3 younger kids, and cute drawings, a chocolate and some cute paper roses from Noah, chocs. from Kimberly, an adorable white tray with roses on it from Sarah, and a cute Christmas apron and a tote from Phillip.
(Side note. My husband bought my apron and tote from my dear friend Ashlea Kline.
And added benefit from buying from them, is this helps their income with their family's high medical bills.
If you would like to order a cute tote for your someone for Christmas,
here is her FB link!
Someone said the last link didn't work. Sorry! :-(
I JUST UPDATED THIS LINK, SO IT SHOULD WORK NOW!!!!
So, here a few pics from my fun SECOND Mother's day! :-)
~The cute sign they had up front at our Chinese church.~
~Dear Aunt Yoli and Abigail.~
~A very tired Abigail.~
~The Sunday school kids sang 2 sweet songs! They were so sweet, and made me want to cry. :-) ~
~Noah~
~Elijah and Mary.~
~Our family (Elijah and Mary are holding their art they made me.) ~
~Noah and I and the gifts he made me.~
~Pretty paper roses in a plastic bottle vase, with a yummy choc. down inside the vase.
And A cute heart that says, "Happy Mother's Day! I love you Mommy!"~
~Our Dear friend Elisa bought these rain jackets for Elijah and Mary.
Since it's raining a lot now, (Even as I write this!) these raincoats will be HUGE BLESSING! :-) ~
~3 chocolate bars that Phillip picked up for the younger kids to give me.
And inside the owl gift bag (which Kimberly made) are more chocolates!
My family knows me well! :-)
Like I mentioned earlier, I still try to eat carefully from when I had gestational diabetes with Abigail.
I'd way rather not eat pasta, rice, and potatoes, and save my carbs for some chocolate every now and then. :-) ~
~Sarah got me this adorable tray!~
~The nice gift that the Chinese church gave to us mothers.~
~Cute little coffee cups that form the Eiffel tower.~
~Aunt Caro helped Elijah and Mary's class make these nice gifts with paints.~
~I found this little pumpkin at a cheap little store.
I decided that I wanted 'em...to spray paint him.~
~So I bought him, taped up his little stem and spray painted him white.
But then I got scared that if I un-taped his stem, a little orange might show. :-)
So, I left his stem white....we'll just pretend that his stem got FROST BITTEN. :-)~
~When we got home from the Chinese church Kimberly made us some yummy coffee.
I quickly washed up my new coffee cups from the Chinese church and enjoyed a yummy cup!~
~And my sweetheart surprised us with ice cream which he had gone out on Saturday to buy for another Mother's day treat.~
The top one is 3 boats in the Plata river near our house.
The bottom picture is "3 PENQUINS WHO ARE SO COLD, SO THEY ARE SITTING IN THE SUN!" ~
My family made my day VERY SPECIAL.
I'm am Loved...and I feel VERY BLESSED!! :-)
THANK YOU, DEAR JESUS, FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING A MOMMY!
~HEATHER~

I loved all your gifts. That little Abagail is a dolly, looking so sleepy. I think you can tell your kids that it is Mother's Day here in America and see what they make for me!;O I loved your tray from Sarah. I love you all, Moma
Hi Heather! The girls and I always enjoy catching up on your blog when we can! Happy to "see" you all!
I would possibly be interested in supporting Ashlea but the link appears to be incorrect - if it's the Ashlea Kline I'm thinking it is?
Love you my friend!
