The early Christians used to greet each other on Resurrection (Easter) Morning with this greeting! One would say..."HE IS RISEN"...and the other person would respond, "He is risen INDEED!!!" Praise the Lord that we can still say this today. I have always loved Easter and still enjoy it today. I enjoy going to church and singing the Resurrection songs filled with hope for Jesus is Alive! I like to make resurrection rolls for breakfast, and I enjoy gathering some Easter goodies and watching our children open their treats. Sometimes if we look at the changes going on around us, the future can look scary. But, we Christians have HOPE that the world does not have! We know WHO holds the future...and we Know who holds our hand!!

We have always had the tradition of saying those sayings among our family on Resurrection Sunday... from several missionaries blogs it sounds like it is a tradition in many places including Russia and Ukraine!
Truly we do have much to be thankful to the Lord for, the most important of which is spiritual life in Christ!
