~HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY TO OUR SARAH!!~

~All Sarah wants for Christmas is her 2 front teeth!~
~Last week Sarah lost a bottom tooth, and then on Monday she lost both her top teeth and Kimberly lost a tooth too, so Daddy was pretty busy that day, pulling teeth; and that night "Mommy Tooth Fairy" was BUSY running from bed to bed putting money under their pillows! =D ~
Sarah turns 7! This week we celebrated Sarah's 7th birthday! We are sooo glad that God gave us our Sarah. She loves to help Mommy and Daddy, loves to give good back rubs, loves to help clean the house, etc. She loves Jesus and her family with all of her heart. She loves to make cards and notes for her family and friends. She sings a lot, always making up her own little cute songs, and is always a joy to have around. We love you, Sarah!!
~Sarah and her birthday gifts (she has a big gift coming at Christmas, so she knew that she was just getting small gifts for her birthday! =) This picture was taken BEFORE she lost her 2 teeth!~

~We rode a gandola like this ALL the way up this mountain called "Monserate" and celebrated Sarah's birthday up there. There is an AWESOME view of Bogota from this mountain.~
~I did get a little woozy on this ride up the steep mountain!~First we took some nice family pics up there for our newsletter, etc., and right after we quit taking our pictures...IT POURED THE RAIN! We praise God for helping it stay clear for our pics! ~Our family with Bogota in the background.~

~Then we ate at this NICE restaurant. We've never seen such a nice restaurant here in Bogota (though I'm sure there are plenty nice restaurants in NORTH Bogota, but we rarely go there!)

We enjoyed our yummy meal there, and since it was raining and chilly outside, we really ENJOYED the fire place where they burned real coal.~

~Just before we went down the mountain, we saw these beautiful sun rays clear on the other side of Bogota...and they were shining over near where our 2 churches are...which we thought was neat.~

After we got down the mountain, I realized that we had left a Winnie the Pooh backpack up on the mountain, leaning against a building! It had clothes and shoes and other odds and ends in it, and a new camera that Phillip had just purchased for a teenage boy in one of our churches! So, we immediately told the man that ran the Gandola, and he called back up to the top and asked the security up there to look for our bag. In the meantime we were PRAYING that God would help them find the bag, and that nothing would be missing from it! A few minutes later, he told us that they had found it (MIRACLE #1) and that the next Gandola that came down would bring it to us. When we got it back, Phillip looked through it, and PRAISE THE LORD, it all was there (MIRACLE #2! We PRAISE GOD for His help with this bag and our stuff!) Sarah had a special day, and the rest of us did too!

A really neat post! I'm so glad you are up and about. I'm reading a book that I saw in the new book section at our library. It is about the journey of a lady that had to be on bedrest for her entire pregnancy. Can you imagine? Happy Birthday Sarah!
