~Some photos from our weekend.~

To answer y'all's questions about the weather here...it is normally in the 60's during the days, and in the 40's at nights. We are 9,000 feet above sea level and near the mountains so it is almost always chilly. Most of the buildings here are made out of concrete with NO HEAT...so we almost always wear sweaters or jackets. Up where both of our churches are it is even colder for we go up another 1,000 feet or so since they are both in the mountains!!
~We bought some pop-cycle makers while in the USA and here Kimberly (While holding Elijah) and Sarah and Noah are making their first pop-cycles.~
~Sarah is my "right-hand" lady when it comes to holding Elijah and reading stories to him or singing to him to keep him content for Mommy.~
~We put Elijah in the back of Noah's dump truck to get a picture. (And then we warned Noah NEVER to do this by himself. =)~
~Kimberly and Noah planting their seeds that they got on Mother's Day from our Christian Nation Church. Sarah bought some flowers in a pot from the market with her own money and planted it in the front yard.~
~Noah planting his seeds.~
~Kimberly, Sarah, and Noah found some snails and PAINTED them. They are keeping them as their "pets".~
~The finished product...The kids snails all painted!! SMILE!~
~During our service this morning.~
~This little baby girl is 2 months older than Elijah. Her Mommy was one of the 5 of us ladies that were pregnant in our church at the same time.~
~Tomorrow is "El Dia de Amistad" (which means "Friendship Day") and so we took some cookies and pop to serve to the people of both of our churches after services today.~~Some of the ladies waiting for their treats.~
~Our little Elijah is growing. His outfit is a 6-9 month That Rhonda gave him. Thanks Rhonda, it's so cute! I cannot believe that he is 4 months today...and is already wearing 6-9 month old clothes. Elijah gets so much love not only from his family but from everyone that sees him.~
~Tonight there were 36 in service. Phillip took this picture after some of the people had already left.~
~Our friend John and his kids went to our church on Sunday night and came in for a snack.~
~Our girls enjoyed playing with Paula.~
God gave us a good Sunday and for that we Thank Him!!!

I realized that I never answered your question that you left on our blog. No, we are not in Costa Rica yet. The pictures that I have been sharing on my blog are from a trip that I took a few weeks ago. However, we have purchased our plane tickets to move down on December 30th. We will actually be with your father for a service between now and then.

Keep up the good job with your blog; your posts are so interesting, and we love the pictures.

I've been enjoying your pictures and blog as always, and just wanted you to know that you are especially on my mind and in my prayers these days as you have a newborn in a far-away country! I pray that God will protect his little body and give you strength to deal with inconveniences there. I know it must not be easy, but you always have a great attitude! :)

I can't wait to try your recipe for the cheesecake. Thanks!!
