~Our Friday and Saturday~

~"Uncle" Jimmy let Noah ride with him in his car on our street. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR JIMMY! HIS EYE IS WORSE AND IT APPEARS THAT HE MAY HAVE TO HAVE SURGERY. BOTH HE AND HIS FAMILY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT HIS EYE. HE JUST CAME BY OUR HOUSE AND WE HAD SPECIAL PRAYER FOR HIS EYE. GOD IS ABLE TO HEAL HIM! THANKS FOR HELPING US PRAY!~
~Little Elijah all dressed up to meet the girl's violin teacher Adriana on Friday. We were excited to find out that she is going to have a baby. Felicitaciones Adriana!~
~Look at Elijah's double chin.~
~Kimberly doing schoolwork keeping Elijah happy while Mommy got ready for company.~
~Sarah (who was trying to help Mommy while I got ready for company)...laid Elijah in his walker side-ways and rolled him around until he fell asleep.~
~Kimberly took this cute picture of Elijah's feet.~~Kimberly took this picture of her hand holding Elijah's hand.~
~Little smiling Elijah.~~On Saturday we had Jimmy, Farly, their 2 girls, and their parents, and another couple over for dinner. Here is our table. In the middle are 3 apples that Phillip cut out to put tea light candles in...the tea light candles here are much taller, but in the States we normally hide the metal part down in the apple for a cute fall centerpiece idea. We also put sugar on the tops of the glasses which is a fun thing to do. (Just put some water in one bowl, and some sugar in the other...then dip the very top edge of your glass in some water, shake it, then dip it in sugar, then fill it with whatever drink you were planning on using. The sugar goes great with tea and juices.~~We used apples as our "place cards" and wrote each persons' name on an apple and then they took the apple home. Apples are very special to Colombians, so they were happy to get an apple.~
~We had a nice visit and Thank the Lord they enjoyed my food too. Farly brought the juice and it was yummy.~
~The kids' table.~
~Visiting after our meal~
~Elijah...All worn out from all of the hugs and kisses he received from our company and his family.=D~
~After having company...we cleaned up and were sitting around visiting as a family...and it was 9:00 on Saturday night and I was headed to bed...when the door bell rang and our friend John and his 2 kids came in for a visit. I fed them and we visited and I finally got to bed at nearly 11:00 and then Elijah who had already slept for 2 hours woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep...so I put him in bed with me and tried to sleep, but it's not easy sleeping with him in my bed so I didn't sleep well Saturday night. Here Paula, (John's daughter) Kimberly, and Sarah are jumping rope together Saturday night.~
I have several pictures from Sunday...but since this post was so long, I'll post them in a few days.

It looks like you had a fun weekend! Your table looks so nice too! Fall is fun, isn't it? Do you have leaves and pumpkins there? Just curious..?
Thanks for the encouraging comment you left on my blog. I have been a P.C. consultant for 2 and a half yrs now. I love it but I am getting ready to take a 3 month leave of absence. I have soo much going on with the new baby and homeschooling that it just feels overwhelming! I KNOW that you understand that! Let me know if you need any Pampered Chef recipes as I have lots to share! ;o) I like your new look for your blog!

What a nice but busy evening. Your table looked so nice. The picture of Kimberly doing her studies and keeping Baby Eljiah occupied is classic. Cute also or Sarah rigging him to be "rolled to sleep". He does not know how good he has it. Next year it will be Noah's time to entertain him when they are running up and down the street. Help! ;-0 Love, Moma

Heather- WOW, it has been a long time. So glad that you "found" me. I still have wonderful memories of our Thanksgiving together.:):) You were/are such a delight! I am thrilled to get back in touch with you after all these years. Time has been good to you, a person would never know that you recently had a baby!:) I truly can't believe that you have 4 children and are in a foreign county. What an amazing journey God has planned for your life. Very exciting! We will have to get "life" updates via e-mail so as not to bore your readers by what all has transpired the past 15 years.:) bvschatz@hotmail.com E-mail me sometime, I would love to hear from you. Until then, I will enjoy this small window into your world. Much Love, Valerie

Help us all! Elijah can't have a double chin yet-just like Grandma's! Kimberly studiously doing her homework and holding Elijah is adorable. I can 'jimagine' that Sarah gave Elijah the 'rolling around' of his life-in order to get him to go to sleep in that walker. Kimberly will be a photographer yet! I loved seeing your Fall theme for your table. It looked so inviting, that I wished I could have been there! What a girl! You fixed two meals for company in one day. Now, that's hospitality with a capital H! Love you bunches,
Mom D
