~Our first week back in Colombia~

Here are some pics from our first week back in Colombia.~
~Elijah's first night in our Colombian home. He had to sleep in our chair in our room, for we had no bed for him until the next day. =)~
~Our first meal in Colombia. Just like we like it...Delicious, yet cheap!! (We didn't have any food in the house, so ate here before we went grocery shopping.)
~Noah and Elijah.~
~Our first Sunday morning service back in Colombia. The church people had decorated the church really pretty just for us. Here are our kids in the front of the church. They served cake and coke after-wards to Welcome us back.~
~Phillip preached in Spanish again! God helped him. I'm having a hard time remembering some of my Spanish words, but they are coming back to me, Thank the Lord. After church we hoped, prayed and waited for a taxi, but none came. So we had to ride in a VERY CROWDED bus and a lady got on the bus WITH A DOG and sat beside Kimberly (and the dog put his head in KIMBERLY'S LAP,) and the lady was across the aisle from Elijah and I. Believe me I was DYING! I could just imagine the fleas that were jumping on my baby! Then we walked the mile home and ate lunch and went to the evening service.~
~(I'M HOLDING ELIJAH, SO I'M TYPING WITH ONE HAND. =) OUR FIRST SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE BACK IN COLOMBIA.~
~SARAH HOLDING ELIJAH.~
~JIMMY AND FARLY'S GIRL'S AND OUR KIDS HAVING FUN.~
~OUR DEAR FRIENDS JIMMY AND FARLY, AND PHILLIP AND I.~
~YUMMY FOOD, GREAT FELLOWSHIP !~
~"UNCLE" JIMMY & "AUNT" FARLY HOLDING ELIJAH IN THE BUS COMING HOME. THE BUS DROPPED US OFF EARLIER THAN WE EXPECTED AND WE ALL HAD TO WALK 2 1/2 MILES HOME.~
~FOR PHILLIP'S BIRTHDAY I MADE A BERRY COBBLER. HE LIKES THAT MORE THAN CAKE.~
~HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHILLIP.~
~Phillip preaching at Bro. Jimmy's church on his birthday.~
~Jimmy's Mom holding Elijah. Elijah captures Colombian hearts wherever he goes. =D~
~After service, 9 of us rode home in this small car. Sarah and Gaby rode in the hatch!~
~What a cute smile Elijah has!~
~I love this picture of Elijah looking at his Daddy!~
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

The 'Colombian' flair is back in your photos. What can we expect when you are 'in' Colombia! I love it and I so enjoyed these pictures of all of you. I am happy your people are happy to have you 'home'. Thanks for taking time to post this for us. Like Janet R, I too, want to come visit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for this newsy post and these pictures. It is obvious on your faces that you are glad to be back home in Colombia. I hope your Spanish comes back quickly - I know I'll have the same issue when we return to Mexico. Can't wait to get back!

Whew! I'm worn out from trying to read everything to catch up since I was last on your blog (too long). And to read about all the suitcases and carryons on your plane trips that you had to lug + a baby and 3 small children in tow made me absolutely exhausted! There's a reason God gives children to young people and not old people like us! {laugh}. Am so happy God gave you a safe trip and you are now back in your beloved Columbia doing what you love to do. I will try to get on more often so I don't have to read as much. Love to all, Aunt Ellen
