~Christmas family photo 2014~

Since we are missionaries in Argentina and will probably go back there before Christmas, we really WANTED to enjoy some snow before we left Ohio.  So we PRAYED that Jesus would please send us some snow.
One Sunday in November I told my family that I wished we could get our Christmas picture taken soon, but that it would be great if it would SNOW for the picture.
We looked on the weather report and saw that it was supposed to snow the VERY NEXT DAY!
So, we quickly planned our outfits and said that if it did snow, we'd run and take our Christmas pictures.
Sure enough, God sent us a BEAUTIFUL snow and we ran and got these fun Christmas pics.  We used a tripod to take our own pictures.
We nearly froze to death taking them... ;-) so once we had some good shots, we hurried home and...
while the kids changed into their SLEDDING clothes,
I made us some hot chocolate to "warm up our toes."  =)
Then we took our kids and their cousins sledding and Aunt Laura made hot chocolate and choc. chip cookies for us when we came back from sledding!  It was a very FUN and memorable day!  =)

Heather, these pictures look as if they came straight out of a Fairy Wonderland! They are the most gorgeous winter pictures ever! I thought your pictures by Holly were the prettiest you could ever get and these are just as good, if not better! Dad loved your headband in these winter pictures. He said it made you look so feminine-the way the women looked back in the fifties, when they dressed up for everything. I hope your little family is making the best of your days, while you're still in your little house in Cincy. I'm so grateful you eight have your very own home to live in while you're in the US! Love, Mom D
