~I was running to get mostly everything done before they got here. I didn't get everything done, but the Lord helped me. I made Indian Fry Bread tacos and no bake cookies for our snack. We had a nice snack and great fellowship together.~
~I took this picture on Wednesday morning as Daryl and Phillip left to go to class.~
~A picture of Daryl and Phillip in the classes. The Lord really helped Daryl as he taught and Phillip as he translated. The devil has really been fighting some of the homes in our congregation. Phillip didn't tell Daryl any of the problems that these couples were having, but God led Daryl to address many things that applied to their lives.~
~They held the classes on the 3rd floor of this building. Each evening the guys arrived soooo FULL from all the coffee, water, pop, avena (creamy sweet cold oatmeal drink), snacks, and lunch that they were fed all day long. =) We praise the Lord for His help with the classes, and that they were well-attended.~
~On Wednesday night Pastor Alberto and Sis. Alba from Medellin came over for a snack. We had a really nice visit together.~
~These are the cookies that I made to serve that night. They are an easy yummy recipe out of one of my Taste of Home cookbooks. I plan to post this recipe soon.~
~On Wednesday, June 30th, the Lord helped Sarah and she finished 3rd grade!!!! YEA!!! So, on Thursday we took her to eat lunch, let her play at the park, and...~
~Got some ice cream to celebrate her hard work on her schoolwork this year. =) Congratulations, Sarah!~
~Thursday Daryl and Phillip taught classes from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and then we had our normal mid-week service. There was a good crowd and God gave us a good service.~
~Me at the piano, Bro. Jimmy and Sis. Farly during the song service.~
~The Lord helped Bro. Rigoberto from Cartagena as he preached that night.~
~L to R: Bro. Rigoberto, Sis. Ilce from Cartagena, Heather and Phillip, Pastor Jimmy, and Sis. Farly from Bogota, and Sis. Alba, and Pastor Alberto from Medellin.~
~These are some very delicious cookies that I made for our snack on Friday night. They are from the same Taste Of Home cookbook. I'll try to post this recipe soon too.~
~We had a wonderful 4th of July...fun pics to follow.~ =)

I love the way Kim folded the "tie" washcloth! So creative! Looks like she's taking after her Mommy!! =)
Great Job "tie"ing all those knots, Kimberly! We are praying for you with all your studies, that God will give you His speed!
Thanks all of your wonderful Dickinson family for how welcome you made Uncle Daryl feel... even Elijah had special "hold you" hugs for Daryl everyday and delighted his heart! We love you and are praying for the Lord's clear wisdom and direction in your daily lives!

Heather, this post brought tears of appreciation to my eyes, as I am reminded anew of what a HARD WORKER you are in your ministry to OTHERS. My heart is overjoyed that my family members are serving in Colombia. Those dear people are going to miss you terribly when you have to come to the States.
And, once again I am reminded that Jesus gave Phillip the opportunity to marry the girl that would perfectly adorn his labours as a missionary. 'My heart o'erflows with praise to Jesus'.
Thank you for being the kind of woman that you are. What a blessing your life is, and has been to my heart.
Your happy mother-in-law,
Mom D
