~We are OVERWHELMED and need your prayers~

I have been DYING to sit down and blog again and post lots of pictures...but for now that will have to wait. I'm writing to ask for PRAYER!!! We are trying to unpack 16 suitcases in a tiny apartment, that is FILLED WITH MOLD!!! Please read Phillip's post on our blog ("It could be a lot worse") for more details and PRAY that God will help us. God knows all about what we are facing and can help us. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS, THEY MEAN THE WORLD TO US!!!...and I hope to get to really blog again soon.

Glad you all made it there safely. It was so good to see you all a few weeks ago!
Sorry to read about the mold. I have had mold appear on very nice clothes before, and try as I might, I couldn't get it off... is there a trick to getting it off, or is it ruined? I eventually threw away much of it, and was so sad that sometimes it was NEW clothes!
That is alot of suitcases there! I know what it is like to have just a few from camp, and it was alot of work... Whew!
We are planning to move to a little house soon, and I just know it is going to be alot of work again. I am excited though.
Keep your chin up! I will pray God gives you a super-burst of energy for the tasks that lie ahead this next week!
Thanks for all you sacrifice to share Jesus with others! May God bless you and your ministry!

Oh Heather, I can honestly say I've been there and my prayers of empathy are with you. When we lived in Mississippi we came back after Karissa's birth to a house completely infested with mold - every room, almost every single surface in and through and under.

It was one of the most challenging times I've faced. David would take the little baby girls to McDonalds to protect them and study while I bleached and cleaned and laundered every square inch. Even the pictures I took can't begin to capture it. (Not to mention adding that to the normal challenges of family, school, ministry).

David and I will be praying heaps of strength and patience and joy to your family!

Here's to when it is all over and you have only the pictures and memories of mold!

Lots of love,
Sarah

Good morning, I have had you on my heart since the first word of mold. It was comforting to read your comments and it sounds like some friends might know some of what you are going through. It might help to know that you are not alone but I AM SURE EVEN THAT does not help the awful job ahead of you both. So kind of Phillip to send you and the babies to nap while he, again, tries to lift the load of his little lady. What an awesome man God has given you. Again I so hurt for the load you all are facing and wish that we could help. I love you, Moma

Hey Heather, I don't know if you remember me, Carla Storer, but I read your blog and keep updated on your family. You are always such an encouragement and challenge to me :). Having just been able to move back into our home after a house fire which mostly resulted in terrible smoke damage, and knowing the hassle, aggravation, and overwhelming feelings I had, my heart just ached for you when I read your blog. I wish I could come lend my hands to help you. I know that God knows all about it and I pray He will just carry and comfort you, give you strength and turn this "thing" into a "good thing" as He has done in our family. We love you guys and pray for you. Keep us updated. ~Carla~

So apparently I got lost in my own world, it was so nice to "catch up" with you and your family! I read through many posts.. Wow, all those suitcases, it looks like more than ever before-is it?
I totally wish I was there to help out. I loved all the pictures your family is so beautiful. I love you all very much and will be praying for you. I hope your home is soon mold free and that your clothes dry extra quickly.

Love Kelly
