~Elijah's 6 month pictures~

OK so JCPenny's was "booked" so I called the "Picture People" to come to our backyard to help me take Elijah's 6 month pictures. HA! =D
No, The Lord, Kimberly, Sarah and Noah helped me take these pictures of our Elijah. He's growing bigger each day. He now has 4 teeth and 2 more coming in. Enjoy!
~Too precious. (Behind the scene...Kimberly is hiding behind the blue blanket holding onto Elijah's outfit so that he doesn't fall over. =)~
~Kimberly gave this little white sheep to Elijah when he was really tiny and she asked him what he wanted to name it. He made a noise and said, "OOOUUU" and so we call this little sheep "OWL". =)~

~WASH DAY!~
~Don't you think I should send these pictures into Johnson's baby products for them to use to advertise? =)~
~Scrub-a-Dub-Dub!~
~He kept wanting to "eat" his "bathtub".~

~All Smiles.~
~Looking cute!~
~Simply Adorable! (Kimberly is holding him here.)~

Since I just can't run to the nearest photo shop and get pics of our kids, my mind is constantly looking for new ideas or new places to take pics of them. I thank God for His help with these photos. =)

Your children are all adorable. I have actually followed your blog for quite awhile now, but never commented :) I have found using black sheets make awesome backdrops because you can't see the shadows. Monte Goins is my husbands cousin just for a little info :)

Also you might already know this, but www.picnik.com is a free and easy way to edit your pictures.

You're going to have to open your own JCP studio, if you keep this up. =) I was thinking about starting a Photography blog. I've had several people ask to see some of my pics.. but too busy right now. I recently took some Sr. Pics for someone and am getting ready to photograph my little brother Chris' wedding... the day after Thanksgiving. Wow, I just remembered that it will be 2 years ago exactly since we've not only seen each other but had Thanksgiving together.

Yikes, looking back, I can't believe I decided to take that trip... so fresh out of surgery and all. Seriously, looking back... I don't think it was the best move. Then when I started spiking a fever on Sunday.. that really scared me. I thought I would have to stay in Bogota for weeks until I would be healthy enough to go back home. Hmmm ... that was a great trip. Miss you guys a ton. Give kisses to my kids.... but 'no hugs and no kisses for Sarah.' Wink, wink.

Wow! Great job; who needs JC Penney's when you do such a good job yourself?!
My favorite is the closeup where you can see his big blue eyes, but I also LOVE your "wash day" (the clothesline) idea! CUTE!!!!

Thank you for the sweet comment on my blog. I have been eagerly following your blog for months. I have always felt a little sheepish since I don't know you very well. You make everyday things sound so sublime-seriously, yours is one of my favorite blogs. Anyway, you and your family make Holiness look so appealing. I mean this because I came in from the world and could have never imagined that a life truly lived for God could be so good. I love that you guys don't take the little things for granted. 'k... I'll be quiet now. Have a great week :)

Elijah's poses and expressions are SO CUTE! I can't tell you which picture I like the best because he is SO ADORABLE in every one. You know me-I am partial to the pictures in living color but Elijah is SO CUTE even in the sepia pictures. That boy is cute even if I am his grandma and partial! You're getting better and better at the camera, Heather. Your practice is making perfect. We love you & Phillip and your sweetheart children.

You asked if I was Monte's sister and yes that would be right :-) Thank you for the nice comment you left on my blog. We attend Bro. Miller's church. I know you all did deputation there, but I don't believe Anthony and I were married yet.

Dearest Heather,
You did wonderful and so did Elijah. I always LOVE the story behind the pictures too, that makes those smiles all the more precious... i.e. all the STRESS and props that you had to rig up... Smile! I love you dear sister. Hope you all have a great week. Gotta get busy tonight is our bout with Penny's but we aren't little a cute anymore! Love ya, Laura

Great job with the pics once again! You really have an eye for props and poses. I find that it is lots less stressful for me to take my own kids' pictures at home than to deal with the stress of getting an appointment and making sure the kids are happy by working around naptime/mealtime, etc. It is challenging sometimes to set up a picture, though. But, you did great! They are all cute and Elijah is just precious! Love his big blue eyes! May God continue to bless you all as you labor for Him.

I think your pics are better than most JcPenney photos. He is happy at home in his own environment. These are just too cute!! I love the bathtub ones, I would definitely send them to Johnson & Johnson. :-)

As you know this was a busy week with revival, guests and trying to redo the finish on our dinning table before the UBC Quartette came for dinner on the Lord's Day. It did get finished by 5:00 Saturday evening while I was preparing to stuff 14 chops with dressing and baking apple pies. At such a busy time your Daddy came and asked if I had not had time to check your blog for the pictures were beautiful! Little Elijah is so dear and I tell you this Gram heart is ready to see all four of your little ones. The big smile showing off his new teeth is classic. Your post was so interesting, it is wonderful to see you using your skills to bring the Light of the World and joy to the lives of those who so desperately need it. I love you, Moma

Hi Heather. You are becoming quite a photographer! They are all good but my favorite is the sepia toned photo with Elijah in the little tub and smiling wide to show off his baby teeth.

Love you guys,
Aunt Ellen
