~Noah learns to ride his bike without training wheels!~

I was upstairs doing Sarah's hair when I heard Phillip tell Noah that he was going to take off his training wheels...and my heart did a flip. MY BABY...riding his bike on the road in front of our house...with parked cars on both sides...EEEEKKKK! In my minds eye...I could just see him crashing!!! Was he ready? WAS I READY? So, I came downstairs and watched Daddy take off the training wheels...and I wasn't the only one watching...there was a VERY EXCITED NOAH watching too! Our girls were excited about this event...another stage in their baby brother growing up. So, off came the training wheels, and Noah sat on his bike and sort of walked out of the garage with BIG SISTERS Kimberly and Sarah on either side to "protect" him. Then they took him to the road, held on to his bike seat until he got started...

...and OFF HE WENT, on the first try, with his little tongue stuck out in concentration! =D

He did a great job, and we were all happy that he survived his first day of riding his bike without training wheels...but no one was more happy (and relieved) than this MOTHER! =) (Sarah was so excited she was skipping and jumping, and so was her dress...it's a good thing that she wears bloomers! =)

Here's a cute little video of him.

Wow! What a big boy! We need to do that ASAP to Parker's bike! He is now 5 years old and I haven't had the nerve to take them away from him!!!

Awwww Heather! Isn't it bitter sweet to watch our babies grow up? I know the feelings you must have felt.
I couldn't help but notice the beautiful purple flowers on your neighbors' garage roof! Are they a clematis or something else? So pretty!

Can't wait to see you all! Just a little over a week! Hurray!

Aunt Nesi,

Those purple flowers on our neighbor's roof are Bogan Villa. =)

Maybe if I show this to Christopher, it will help him want to ride his bike more so he can do the same!

Way to go Noah! There is a bike trail here in Loveland that our kids are dying to try out, as soon as the weather gets nice and their daddy loads up the bikes. Maybe you all could go with us too! Your Mommy and I will have to plan a picnic and that would make all of our hearts SO happy! Can't wait till you get here, we are getting ready! Love, Aunt Laura

I loved this video clip watching our GRANDkids in action. Sarah nearly got ran over there but Noah did good steering away from her. Wow, Kimberly and Sarah's hair is getting so long! We must remember to get our group picture taken of us girls with our hair down, so we can see how much everyone's hair has grown these past two years. I am so excited to know that it is almost time for you guys to arrive in the United States! Love, Mom D
