~Kimberly and Sarah's short break from school.~

Please continue to pray for Fernando...
Our dear friend Fernando, who was in a motorcycle wreck is really suffering!!!
His insides were crushed in the wreck, so they are DAILY having to go inside him and clean. :-(
He is in TONS of pain!!!!
Since Mariela (Madi ella) is staying with Fernando in the hospital, we have their precious son Jeremiah with us.
PLEASE KEEP FERNANDO AND HIS FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS!!!
THANK YOU!!!!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Please also PRAY FOR OUR DEAR FRIEND in Colombia...Bro. Jaime.
This is Pastor Jimmy's Dad!  He was in an accident at work, and is in surgery today!! Thank you!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Kimberly and Sarah wrapped up this past school year on Tuesday. (Remember that they took their 3 month "summer break" in November, December, and January, as we worked on our U.S.A. home, spent time with and said goodbye to family and friends, , packed and then flew to Colombia on Christmas day.  We spent a month with our church people there in Colombia, and then flew here to Argentina on Jan. 22nd.)
So this week Kimberly and Sarah are taking a SHORT break before starting This New school year on Monday, Lord willing.
~This called for a COFFEE CELEBRATION! :-) :-) :-) ~
~Then since Daddy had a birthday this week, we went to a new park about 16 blocks from our house.
It's a fun, clean, and well-lit park that we really like.
Here's Baby Abigail swinging.~
~Noah and Elijah asked a group of boys if they could join their soccer game.~
~Sarah and Kimberly on the side-lines of said soccer game.~
~Sarah skating.  We are Glad that the new park has this neat smooth place to skate and play soccer.~
 ~Sarah and her Sweet Daddy...the birthday man. :-) ~
 ~Baby Abigail.~
~Mary and Abigail in a little Merry-go-round that they turn with their hands.~
 ~Mary, Elijah, and Noah.~
~As we were leaving the park we found this bigger Merry-go-round, but it was HARD to push.~
~And here's the new park all lit up at night.
Aren't all these lights fun?
Doesn't it remind you of Christmas?
The first night our family went to this park and saw all the pretty lights...
IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! :-) ~
~For supper on Phillip's birthday we ate at this simple pizza shop.
It wasn't fancy, but the pizza was good.~

 ~One of our yummy pizzas.~
 ~Our 2nd yummy pizza.
~Kimberly took this fun pic of Abigail looking at the pizza.~

~The birthday man, yours truly, and SWEET baby Abigail looking up at us. :-) ~
~Abigail all tuckered out, on the walk home from the park.~

~The next day, we packed up some snacks,
some hot coffee,
some Argentina Mate,
a Tent,
2 ripsticks (the boy's funny skateboards)
and every ball you can imagine,
and went to the river park for several hours.
~Kimberly, Mary, Mommy, and Abigail just "chillin'"~
~Noah and Mary playing by the river.~
~Daddy and baby Abigail.  (We didn't put the "roof" on the tent, for it was too windy.) ~

~That's A LOT of sweetness wrapped up in That pink coat and pink hair bow. :-) ~
 ~Kimberly and Abigail.~

~Sarah and Mary down by the river, with downtown Buenos Aires behind them.~

~Noah, Sarah, Kimberly, and I (pretending that there was a volleyball net in between us) hit the volleyball back and forth for practice.~

~That little face, my friends, happens to look EXACTLY LIKE HER MOTHER (Me!) WHEN I WAS LITTLE! :-)~
Phillip has had a great Birthday week...and it's not over yet! :-)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS
FOR FERNANDO, HIS WIFE MARIELA,
AND LITTLE JEREMIAH!

~Happy Birthday, Sweetheart Phillip~

~Sorry for re-posting this pic, but I think it's a fun pic of us. :-)~
~Phillip's gifts from our family...ready to open.
(It looks like he got a lot, but they are SIMPLE gifts, bought with love. :-) ~

~Phillip used his birthday money to buy this nice tea pot to use with his Argentine tea called Mate.~
~Last night we had a fun English class.
We played Taboo,  where we had to describe words using other words to our team players.  It was GOOD English practice.
Afterwards we played Gestures, and acted out some words.
We missed Aunt Caro who was away visiting her parents.
(Excuse the pink and white decor left over from Abigail's birthday, I have another little girl's birthday coming up soon, so don't want to take it down. :-) ~
Phillip and the kids made some of what our family calls "Paper Toilets."  :-)
They watched a video by a man from Russia explaining how to put a roll of paper toilet (Toilet paper :-)  into a can (removing the card board tube from the Toilet paper first,)
then pour alcohol over the toilet paper and it makes a nice little contained fire.
The man accidentally called it "PAPER TOILET" instead of Toilet paper, which made us smile.  Our family has learned another language (and we still make lots of mistakes speaking it) so we could identify. :-)

So, we now call these "Paper Toilets!" :-)  Here's their first paper toilet!~
~The kids love this, and it gives a perfect little "Country feeling contained fire"... in the middle of the city. :-)
~After our games we went outside to our 3 "Paper toilets" and roasted Marshmallows.
Here are Sarah and Valen.~

~All of us enjoyed roasting Marshmallows.~

~Bubu and Kimberly...with a little smiling Abigail in the corner of the pic.~
 ~The kids LOVED the fire.~
~When it comes to Birthday cake, Phillip is an easy man to please.
He wants jello cake with pudding on top. :-)
(He wouldn't mind one of my apple pies, if I can ever find the energy to make one.
I think I'll have to wait until Abigail GRADUATES from Highschool first...so I can catch up on my sleep. Lol!)
~Kimberly carrying in the cake and volcano candle while we sang Happy Birthday.~

~Valen touched the hot can and burnt her thumb.  So, here she is giving a "BIG LIKE sign."  :-) ~
~Phillip's gifts, after the girls got back from buying a gift for him.~

~As I've told you before, Dear little Abigail does NOT think that nights are for sleeping.;-)
We've tried nearly everything we know of, and she still wakes up from 1 to 3 times a night, and sometimes is awake for 2 hours!
Phillip often gets up with her and takes her downstairs and walks and prays with her, so that I can get some more sleep!

So saying that, Here's the Sweet note that Kimberly wrote last night and left for Daddy to see this morning.

"Happy Birthday, Daddy!
Daddy, if it's after 7:30, please wake me up! I'll take the boys to lessons (guitar) today and you SLEEP IN!!
I don't want to lose my Daddy to a Heartattack or something 'cause He never got any sleep!  HaHaHa!  Ahem!  Abigail! :-)
Love, K!mberly!~
~This is our breakfast table this morning for Phillip's birthday breakfast. (Sadly the boys and Kimberly were gone! :-(~
~Sarah made yummy scrambled eggs and I made Blueberry sour cream scones and coffee.~

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PHILLIP!
May you have a very special day!  Let's celebrate another 100 of your birthdays!!!  ;-)
I LOVE YOU TONS!!!!
You are such a SPECIAL Godly man, and I GET TO HAVE YOU as my Husband, Best Friend, Life's companion, team mate, Protector, provider, and Daddy of our 6 precious children! :-)
Thank you, Dear Jesus, for giving me my SWEETHEART Phillip!

~Pics from Sunday and other pics.~

Our friend Fernando (who had a motorcycle wreck) STILL NEEDS PRAYER!
His wife Mariela said that He is still critical!!!!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~Before Sunday School started, Noah was helping U. Charlie by peeling carrots for Chinese Sunday dinner back in the kitchen.~
~Kimberly was asked to sing at church.  Here they are gathered to pray before service started.~
~Kimberly and her friends that she sang with at church.~
~Thank you for your prayers for our little Wiwi!
Jesus has touched him and he is healing well.  Here he is last Sunday holding Abigail. ~
~Abigail figured out how to crawl up on the chairs beside her big sister Kimberly's desk...
~OHHHH, The studying Kimberly gets done when Abigail arrives at her desk! ;-) ~
~And Abigail likes to "help Sarah Pray" while she's having her devotions too. :-)~
~Little Mary holds Little Abigail. :-)
These sisters are SO HAPPY to have each other and laugh and giggle and play together well!~
~Unfortunately, Abigail is a CLIMBER!
We found her hanging off the top of the glass tea cart!  :-(
I had Elijah hold her there so I could get a quick picture.~
~Elijah LOVES to cut up things and tape them together.  He found a piece of a "Swimming pool noodle" and cut it up and made a cute little "man."~

~Does God Care About Rollerblades?~

One Thing I L.O.V.E. about my Jesus is that He CARES ABOUT the smallest details!
Another thing I LOVE about Him is that
HE IS THE SAME GOD TO OUR CHILDREN AS HE IS TO US!!!

For Months our Sarah wanted some skates.
She had outgrown her skates and had to leave them behind in Colombia. :-(
When we were in Argentina (last time) she wanted some more skates, but they were too expensive to buy here!
So, Sarah would look on-line and DREAM of when she would get some Skates in the U.S.A. :-)

She couldn't decide whether she wanted roller skates, or roller blades.
I told her to PRAY ABOUT IT, and then when we got to the U.S.A. she could look at Thrift Stores!
So, she began to PRAY!
Months Later, when we were in the U.S.A. to have Baby Abigail, Sarah and I ran into Goodwill for something.
I was shopping away (I'm nearly in "Heaven" in thrift stores ;-) ...

WHEN All of the sudden Sarah came up to me and excitingly said,
"Mommy, LOOK!!!"

I looked and in her hands were
THESE BRAND NEW roller blades with the PAPERS STILL INSIDE THEM,
THEY WERE JUST HER SIZE...
And they were Marked $8.00!!

BUT THEN GOODWILL WAS HAVING A 50% OFF SALE THAT DAY,

SO GOD GAVE SARAH HER ROLLER BLADES FOR A "WHOPING" $4.00!!! :-)

It brought tears to my eyes!

GOD IS SO AWESOME!!
If He cares about roller blades,
How much more does He care about Helping us get our family and others to Heaven,
AND ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE FACING TODAY!!!!!!

~HEATHER~
