~Our Christmas get-a-way~

Phillip and I got to go spend some time at a one of the nice Serenity Cabins in Hillsboro, OH! My Daddy and Moma kept our 4 earthly treasures (our children) and we enjoyed some days to Christmas shop (without telling kids to close their eyes so they wouldn't see their gifts =), catch up in my journal, spend time with each other and with Jesus. We had a wonderful time! If you are looking for a neat place to stay, I would suggest Serenity. I have put info at the bottom of this post.
~Here are some pictures of the cabin and the Thank you poem I wrote in the guest book. =)~

'Twas 2 weeks before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
Because we had left our home all alone you see
To spend time at "Country Charm" at Serenity.

The lights how they twinkled and glowed in the dark night.
The cabin in the woods was a breath-taking sight.
The Christmas tree inside and lights were a pretty view.
The welcome basket with it's goodies was nice too.

Everything was wonderful and we loved our stay.
We were so tired and needed this get-away!
What detail! Everywhere we looked there was a surprise!
Wherever we go we will for you advertise!

For whatever reason this will not let me link the link to the cabin. If you go to www.serenitylogcabins.com you can get more info on these delightful cabins! I can assure you, you won't be disappointed! =)

You two must have thought you had died and went to a Fairy Wonderland! Especially, with no litle children in tow! LOL!
I KNOW! It isn't easy to leave your loved children when you go on a little get-away. I could hardly stand it when I had to be away from my two boys, when they were small.
If you didn't live in Colombia, I would think you guys live a charmed life because of all the neat things you have done since being in the United States. Of course, it's a great life, if you don't 'weaken'! Ha! Ha!
Love you six!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mom D

Enjoy your blog very much. What a wonderful family. I was looking for an address to send support money to you. I'm guessing that the Goshen address to the church will be okay.
God Bless
