~Sarah's Baby Shower~

The Lord gave us WONDERFUL Special services last week at our New Strait Creek Christian Nation Church.  We had special speakers and singers every night.   I plan to post about the services soon.  Thank you for your prayers!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
A few weeks ago, Kimberly mentioned that we should give Sarah a baby shower! Right away, I thought it was a great idea.
A friend of Kimberly's gave Sarah a lot of little baby girl clothes, so that gave me a lot of fun things to hang as decor for her baby shower! The Lord really helped and we were so happy with how it turned out!

~Someone gave me the antique baby scales years ago, which is where they placed their cards.~
~I borrowed Kimberly's chair for Sarah to sit in.~
~Elijah built the little wooden boxes that I used in the centerpieces.

The little vases came from Dollar Tree. The flowers came from Ollies Discount store.

This Grammy (ME :-) had fun finding a few pair of little adorable shoes on clearance or sale at Marshalls to use as part of my centerpieces.

However, Josh and Sarah owned one of the pairs of baby booties, and the other pair, is what they gave us to to announce their baby girl.  <3

~My Sweet Moma, made these adorable bears for the Church Nursery when Daddy Pastored in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

When we were down there in LA to make our CD, Sweet Ms. Nellie gave the bears to me.~

~Sarah found the cute little sign that says, "Little Answered Prayer"

recently at a Goodwill.~

~Since we live 2 hours away, and the baby shower was a morning shower, we knew we would have to leave at 6:30 AM from our house to arrive in enough time to prepare the food before the shower.

So, we asked if we could get in to decorate the hall on Wednesday afternoon.

We were granted permission and the Stampers showed up to help us.

Since we finished so close to church time Wednesday night, we ran and grabbed a bite to eat together, and then attended church with the Stampers and Sarah that evening.~

~The girls playing church.~
~The teens.~
~Adorable Decorated Cookies as Party Favors.~
~Kimberly & Mary
made and decorated
baby themed sugar cookies!
They spent hours working on the cookies...and they turned out gorgeous!!~
~All ready to start.~
~A Baby Onesie~
~A bib~
~Baby Rattles~
~Baby Bottle~
~Another bib~

~Abigial and I made Blueberry Muffins and

Double chocolate Chocolate Chip muffins.

They were new recipes, and they turned out so moist and yummy~

~Some of the cutest cookies that Kimberly and Mary made.~

~Dear Kelly purchased a fun balloon garland to hang above my banner.

Kelly and her girls were such a blessing, putting the balloon garland together, and hanging it for me.

~Kimberly, Mary, and Abigail did a lot to help with

the baby shower.~

~The Balloons added such a fun touch.~
~When Kimberly was a tiny baby, The Campbells that attended church with Daddy and Moma in Oelrichs, SD bought this little antique doll stroller for Kimberly and mailed it to us

all the way in Cinci, OH.

It was black back then.

Kimberly asked Chris to please paint it beige.

It added such a fun touch to Sarah's baby shower.~

~Our muffins.~

~Sarah with the gift table, before all the gifts got there.

There were around 47 of us

(49 counting Kimberly and Sarah's babies)

and the ladies truly showered

Sarah and baby

with sweet gifts! ~

~Sarah is looking so adorable!!  That baby is surely wanting some attention.

We are all soooo excited about this baby coming, end of July.~

~A fun way to present fruit kabobs is to
poke them
into a pineapple.~

~My sweet girls and I.~

(Both of Sarah's Grandma's were so SAD to have to miss her shower,

but neither one were up to it physically.)

~The sweet Stamper ladies and Nannie~
~When Sarah was just a tiny baby, Jim and Lila Kemp started attending our Gospel Center Church, in AZ.  We were so excited when they started coming to our church!

Bro Jim called Sarah, "Baby Sarah."  As she got to where she could toddle around, she would come up to him to get tic tacs from him.  Before each service, He always made sure that he had plenty of tic tacs for baby Sarah.

Today, he drove his sweet wife over in the pouring rain and a huge thunder storm so she could attend,

"Baby Sarah's" baby shower.  :-)

Here is Sarah Thanking him for bringing Mrs. Lila!!

~Kelly and her girls were such a blessing and provided all of the yummy drinks on the drink station.

She had a large bin full of ice-cold Jumex juices, pineapple juices, & orange juices,

plus she served water, Decaf coffee, Coffee, and 3 delicious creamers!!

~We made breakfast pizza as our main course.~

~All of us ladies at our tables.~

~Our table~

Kimberly, Sarah, and I were Surrounded by such sweet friends.

~Mary's table.~
~So happy these ladies could come~
~So happy these ladies could come!!
(I was especially happy that dear Sis. Albertson was able to come and Elizabeth!)
~Abigail's table.~
~Sweet girls!~
~Adorable Elize~

~Sarah Opening Gifts~

~Sis. Lila nearly bought out TeMU.  ;-)

She bought so many fun and sweet things for Sarah's baby.~

~Mrs. Paulus made this super soft blanket for Sarah's baby girl.~
~Mrs. Ritha made this sweet blanket for Sarah's baby.~
~Dear "Aunt Luann" drove nearly halfway across the US to celebrate Sarah!!! ~
~Aunt Luann and the girls and I.

(I'm pretty sure that Baby Elize was nearly over the weight that Sarah should be holding

while she is pregnant.)

Hee! Hee!

~I was trying to take pics of the girls baby bumps.

Kimberly is 15 weeks tomorrow, and she does have a cute little bump, but it's not too noticable to those who don't know that she normally has no tummy.

Sarah is nearly 28 weeks! They both are looking so cute!!~

~After the shower Kimberly had to run to play for a wedding ...and her little bump showed up a tad more in this black dress.

How we Thank the Lord for His help with Sarah's Sweet Baby shower, for all of those who attended, and for all of those who gave Sweet gifts!
Thank you for your prayers for our 2 Grandbabies,
and their Mommies and Daddies!
