Our family got to run up to hang out with my dear in-laws, and see the eclipse. They were in the full coverage path there in Greenville, OH. We spent Sunday night, April 7th, with them, and then, on Monday, April 8th, we hung out with them and Michael and Beth and family, saw the eclipse, ate lots of food, and then jumped into our very loaded van and ran to Gatlinburg, TN for one of my Favorite times of the year...my beloved IHC!!!
I wrote this on the way to IHC.
For as long as I can remember I have attended IHC.
My parents would sacrifice each year to take us to IHC. My sweet Moma would make plans way ahead and take yummy food for us to eat in our hotel room.
My brothers owned a lawn business and helped pay for our hotel since my parents were at our Christian school in Friendville, TN, and only made like $35 a week!
When I was a little girl I told my parents I would rather have IHC than Christmas gifts!!! (And I still feel the same way.)
I always got jumping up and down Happy about IHC and planned my outfits weeks in advance!!!
As a little girl, I would come doll baby in hand, as a teenager wearing my first heels, then…
The year Phillip and I got engaged my dear parents announced our engagement in the Dayton Daily!!
After we got married we started bringing our own REAL Live baby Dolls!!
(IHC 2008. I came in a wheelchair because I was so great with child, and They said that I couldn’t come to IHC unless I rode in a wheel Chair.)
When God called us to Pastor in Phoenix, I was devastated the 2 years or so that we couldn’t come.
When we were in language school in Costa Rica, I wanted to quit school the last month just to attend IHC. (But we stayed there.)
As missionaries to Colombia and Argentina, we would sit around the computer and watch every single service and worship from afar.
I am carrying on the tradition my Moma started by bringing all of our food to eat in our room!
No lines, no hassle, very relaxing!!
I try to buy fun snacks and drinks and have a variety of sandwhiches and something hot in the crockpot!
After seeing the eclipse, we are on our way to my Beloved - IHC - Interchurch Holiness Convention
I cannot wait to see all of y’all and worship Jesus together!!! (The photo below is from IHC last year, and that is me standing to praise my Jesus!!)
~Food I gathered to feed my family and lots of friends at IHC.~ Back in August/Sept. Sarah and Kimberly were BOTH EXPECTING!!!
Those babies would have been 11 days apart.
But, when we nearly lost Sarah with her ectopic pregnancy,
2 days later Kimberly lost her baby as well. :-(
It was a DEEP valley for our family! I drove down the road begging Jesus to give us BEAUTY FOR THESE ASHES!!!
But God was faithful to be there for us and help us heal!
Now, Sarah's baby is due end of July (She's 25 weeks along) and Kimberly's baby is due end of October (she's 12 weeks along), so these 2 precious babies will be like 13 weeks apart!!!!
Praise Jesus!!! Phillip and I absolutely cannot wait to be
Grandpa and Grammy!! <3
Yesterday, I got to go with Chris and Kimberly to their ultrasound and their adorable baby was bouncing everywhere!! Sooo cute!
~After the ultrasound we met for coffee.~

The Lord helped everyone of the preachers!
God's sweet presence was so close!!
I understand that there were some native grandparents who attended IHC to hear their granddaughters to sing.
They do not speak English.
After Jeremy Fuller spoke, they told their granddaughters that they heard the sermon through the interpreter. The granddaughters insisted that there was Not a translater, but the grandparents went on to tell all the points that Jeremy Fuller preached!! God translated that sermon for them!!
The Grandpa got saved Tuesday night, and the Grandmother on Wednesday morning! PRAISE JESUS!!~
