~Mission service in PA and Central PA Youth Convention (CPYC)~

Before CPYC (Central PA Youth Convention at James Plank's church) we had a missionary service in Osterburg, PA with our dear friends the Neal Weaver family.
We met up with Neal last CPYC, and before that we had not seen him or his family since our AZ days when Phillip was pastor at Gospel Center Church in Phoenix, AZ, and the Weaver family worked at Montezuma Indian School.
We had a delightful Sunday with them.
They also graciously let us stay in their nice trailer and took such good care of us...the days before CPYC.
It was so nice to have "our own" little space to home school, sew on some clothes for CPYC, practice everyone's musical instruments, etc.~
~Our Mission service at their church in Osterburg, PA.~

~Neal and Bev and their family were so gracious to our family!!
We enjoyed talking with them about missions, raising families, etc.~
~It was so nice to meet their sweet kids as well.~
~Some of the yummy food they had in the trailer when we arrived.~

~Elijah was so happy that they had Marcos, near his age.~
~They served us such a yummy Sunday dinner.~
~And  on Tuesday, before we left on Wednesday,
they made delicious homemade ice cream for us.  Yum!!
THANK YOU, NEAL, BEV, AND FAMILY FOR ALL YOU DID TO MAKE OUR STAY SO NICE!!!!~
~On Wednesday, Jan. 29th,
we headed over to CPYC!~
~Our family heading into Beavertown church.~
CPYC is like a campmeeting
for our young people!!!

 ~The Mayhle family singing.~
~The Lord really helped Eric Kuhn as he talked about life being like a Passport...
you only have one...where will it take you, what will you do with it,
and basically only what is done for Christ will last.
Very good!!~
~We stayed with our dear friends Doug and Kim Hoffman, and they treated us so special.  It was so fun to visit here and there in between services at CPYC.
We love having friends whose hearts beat like ours on missions, raising children, etc. ~
~On Thursday afternoon Kim and Regina took Kimberly out to a fun coffee shop where Regina works.  It was such a fun ladies time out to talk and share our hearts.
THANK YOU, DOUG AND KIM, FOR KEEPING US DURING CPYC AND FOR ALL YOU DID TO MAKE OUR STAY COMFORTABLE!!~
~Kim and Regina and their family are missionaries as well.  I cannot remember but Kim and I may have written to each other while on our fields before we met at IHC,
or we met on our first deputation before we went to Costa Rica to learn Spanish.
Anyways, since then we have had been good friends.
It is always neat to get with the Hoffmans and talk mission, raising families, etc. ~
~The girls were happy that Mercy got to come.~
~On our way to PA we learned that our Pastor's wife's Mommy had gone to Heaven.
So, we were privileged to get to attend her memorial service on Friday.~
~The Lord helped us so much during CPYC!!!!
Waves and Waves of God's Glory.  Lots of people praying at the altar and surrendering their ALL.  Lots of testimonies, then more coming to pray at the altar.
This was our second time to go to CPYC.
We WANT and NEED our own kids in this kind of atmosphere where it is the "IN THING" TO SERVE GOD AND DO WHAT HE WANTS WITH ONE'S LIFE!!!!
THANK YOU, DEAR JESUS, for coming and walking among us!!!~
 ~Josh and Sarah~
~We were soooo happy that our family got to come.  It was so nice to have Daryl, Brittany, Darla, and Bryan there with us. ~
 ~Brittany, Heather, Bethany, and Kimberly~
~Our girls fell in love with Ashlie W. and were sooo happy to see her again on Saturday!!~
~On Saturday the kids play in the gym, but we stop to have 2 services.
God's presence came in both services and there were lots at the altars afterwards!!~
 ~Kim, Janice, and I.
Janice and I met back in AZ days, and I don't think I have seen her since.
She is a cousin to Stephanie, our music minister's wife.~
~THESE ARE PICS THAT I BORROWED FROM CPYC FaceBook~
~Our Christian Nation Church got the privilege of
singing on Saturday night.~

 ~Our Abigail.
I love it that they have children's church for the littles as well.~
 ~Elijah~

 ~A full House....
And God's Sweet Presence Filled the Place!!!
~My good friend introduced me to Jody H.  We 3 had a blast visiting together and laughed our heads off.  It is so nice to have Christian fellowship.~
THANK YOU, DEAR JESUS, FOR COMING TO MEET WITH US AT CPYC!
WE MUST HAVE YOU AND YOUR GUIDANCE
IN OUR LIVES!
~Kim and I ...quite tired after CPYC...but it was well worth it.~
~A little bag of goodies we left for Doug and Kim, including some coffee from the Dominican.~
~Getting back to our Home Sweet Home and seeing our little dog Boulder.~
~In just 7 days our Kimberly and Sarah leave on the EFM Medical Brigade.
Feb. 29th--March 7th.
Lord willing Sarah will be translator for a nurse and
Kimberly will work with Mr. Tony, the eye doctor again.
This was a long receipt of medicines they bought to help fill their 2 medicine suitcases.~
~Thank the Lord for fresh eggs from our chickens.~
~We got the privilege of going with our dear friend Bro. Hyatt to the Answer's Center at the Ark Encounter to see the Red Sea Miracle by Tim Mahoney.
It was so good!
~It was so neat that Josh got to come with Dr. Bird from GBS.~
 ~Phillip sledding with the kids. :-) ~
~Heading to worship at our own church one Sunday morning.~
~On Tuesday night, Feb. 11th, Kimberly and Sarah played at the Fort Wright Chick-fil-A to raise money for their trip to Peru.~

~Bro. M. Stamper, Josh, and Katie came and joined us at Chick-fil-A. We sat down to visit for a little while after the girls finished playing to raise $$$ for Peru. ~
~Sarah has 10 more orders of lasagnas to make before she leaves for Honduras next Friday.
Kimberly is taking orders through THIS Saturday for her macarons.
All proceeds go to help their mission trips!~
~THE LITTLE GIRLS' BAKING SETS.~
We were so happy to find these little baking sets for a little bit of nothing at Aldi's.
Mary and Abigail were so excited to bake cookies with Mommy!

~Abigial put some Peeps into her muffin cups to serve to her brother and sister.~
 ~Baby Chloe and Baby Riley's baby Shower~
Our boys' guitar teacher Jeremy and his sweet wife Sue Ann had these adorable twin Momo baby girls on
Dec. 23rd.
They are still in the hospital, and I think their due date was this week.
They have to be able to stay alert enough to eat at their feeding times
and eat a certain amount before they will be
permitted to come home.
PLEASE PRAY FOR THESE ADORABLE GIRLS
AND THEIR PARENTS!
It has been a LONG journey and it will be so NICE when they can actually come home!
Last Saturday, we were invited to a sweet baby shower for them and their parents
(even though the baby girls were still in the hospital).
~Kimberly was privileged to make these beautiful macarons for the baby shower.
Jesus helped her!~
~Jeremy and Sue Ann's family did a beautiful job with the baby shower.~

~Our Annual Meal out to celebrate God calling us to be missionaries.~
Phillip found this Grecian Chili Place called Camp Washington, West Side Cincinnai.
It was around a few years before Skyline or Gold Star were started.

~Phillip talked to us about missionaries wherever God has placed us in life!
He also reminded us of the privilege it is to be called of God!
And he reminded the kids and I of Jesus' PRAYER REQUEST....
To Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that He will Send Forth Laborers into His Harvest....
Matt. 9:38
~It was similar to Skyline, but we like Skyline better.~

~The kids helped me make 9 dozen cookies for the GBS choir who came to
our church last Sunday night.~

 ~Abigail's little bear cookie~
~God's Bible School choir at our Church~
~Sunday dinner at our house~

~Dear Friends from child-hood Kimberly, Sarah, and RaeQuelle~
~"Twins separated at birth"...Levi and Elijah.
Levi's family invited Elijah over for Sunday dinner last Sunday.~
~Dear Friends found out that Abigail loved this cereal ...and got her a big box.
She graciously shared some with all of us this AM.
~The young people visiting after church last night.~

Prayers appreciated for Kimberly and Sarah as they wrap up their medical suitcases and all to leave for Honduras on Friday, Feb. 29th.  Please pray for the whole team going on the EFM Medical Brigade.   THANK YOU!!!
~HEATHER~
