Their first 30 mins. on the road they had a flat tire on their trailer. :-(
Yesterday found Dad's truck broken down on the side of the road.
THIS IS PHILLIP'S REPORT OF WHAT HAPPENED!
Thanks for your prayers! The bearings for the pulley for the vacuum pump went out and broke the serpentine belt. After miles of driving through desert God let it happen in the middle of a city near some auto parts stores that had not yet closed for the night. Dad fixed it so fast with so few tools that he had out in case of an emergency that I was amazed! It was not hours but minutes. We are on the road again. God is good! -Phillip

Life has kept me hopping...being a "single Mom" while Phillip has been gone.
~On Tuesday before Thanksgiving while packing to go to IN for Thanksgiving....and while making 68 rolls, 2 pies, etc. my toilet (filled with nasty Brown stuff) OVERFLOWED!!! :-(
(And my "plumber" was in AZ!) But, Jesus helped us thru it. :-)
~One day I had a huge batch of sourdough starter setting on the island. Abigail came by and decided to STIR IT!!
YOU GUESSED IT...
IT LANDED ON THE FLOOR...
and splashed all the way to the ceiling...
down my new shelves, and all over EVERYWHERE on that side of the kitchen!! :-(
So, Sarah and I SPRING-CLEANED THE KITCHEN in NOVEMBER! :-)
The kids and I have had a good time and we have done lots of work, fun activities, and coffee-ing, mate-ing, and hot chocolate-ing together. :-)

~Before P, K, and Noah flew to AZ the Dear Beckers invited us over to a yummy Sunday dinner!! Then we hit the road and ran to Westfield, IN for a missionary service that night.~
~Sunday night, Nov. 19th, we were privileged to have a mission service at Union Friends Church...the church where Daddy and Moma pastored for 6 years. It was so nice to see our dear friends there.~
~We enjoyed a lovely snack with the Whitakers and the Stetlers.~
~The next day (before Thanksgiving) Phillip, Kimberly, and Noah flew to AZ to help Dad and Mom D. pack and move from AZ to OH.~

~I had some help making treats to take over to Gramp and Gram's house for Thanksgiving.
(And yes, that is a Christmas tree behind her head. Since a lot of my help was leaving to go to AZ, and since we were going to celebrate Thanksgiving at Dad and Moma's....Phillip let us decorate for Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving this year.)~
~Elijah and Mary helped me peel and chop over 7 lbs. of potatoes for mashed potatoes.~~I made a pumpkin pie...~
