Then in November Bryon F. and Phillip found a van on Craig's list that we thought might be a possibility for our family. But at last minute, that fell through.
So, when we arrived in the U.S.A. we had no vehicle.
One Monday evening Phillip was looking through cars on a website for our friend Bro. D. was heading to a car auction the next day and was going to try to locate a vehicle for us.
All of the sudden a text popped into Phillip's phone and someone asked if we had a vehicle yet.
Phillip told the person that we did not, and that he was trying to find a vehicle right then, but that our problem was that we couldn't get a suburban or a minivan, for we needed 8 seats.
That person told Phillip to call them the next day at 8:00 our time.
When Phillip called that person the next day they said something like:
"WE HAVE A 2011 SUBURBAN WITH SEATS FOR 8 PEOPLE,
THAT WE WANT TO DONATE TO MISSIONS FOR YOUR FAMILY!!!"
As you can imagine we were SHOCKED!!!!
We feel BLESSED beyond measure!!!
Our prayer is that God will bless this DEAR FAMILY
for their sacrifice for little ole' us!!!!!!!
~Here is our wonderful GIFT...vehicle... with which God and that Dear family blessed us!!!

Our family got to go down with my dear parents to see my Sweet Grandmother (our kids call her GG, for GREAT Grandmother) in Tennessee.
GG is 93 now. It had been over a year since we had seen her...
and we didn't know if we would get to see her again.
We were so THANKFUL to Jesus that we did get to see her.
Here are lots of pics for your enjoyment.

~This is how Abigail feels.
Walking with Grandma...
I like to walk with Grandma,
Her steps are short like mine.
She doesn't say,
"Now hurry up."
She always take her time.
I like to walk to Grandma,
Her eyes see things like mine do...
Wee pebbles bright,
a funny cloud,
half hidden drops off dew.
Most people have to hurry,
They do not stop and see...
I'm glad that God made Grandma,
Unrushed and YOUNG like me!

Heather I love to read about God's provision for your family! It reminded me of when He provided a suburban for us back in 2012. "If He has given us His Son will he not also give us everything else we need?" I love that scripture. I enjoyed catching up with you--thanks for sharing all the sweet pictures!
Love,
Liz
P.S. I think we might get to attend our beloved IHC together this year! :)
YAY! I'll love seeing you at I.H.C. Thanks bunches for your sweet comment. :-)
Love ya,
~Heather~
What a lovely post, so many pictures from the start to finish! I loved them all especially the last of you and Phillip in the snow! Thanks again for sharing all the pictures of our time in Tenn with Grandmother. Love, Moma
What a beautiful vehicle God provided for you and your wonderful family! Enjoyed all the pics from GG"s visit. She is so precious!! In the one of her and Elijah she looks like she is up to something. She has that ornery look on her face. LOL. Love your beautiful dishes from Aunt Yoli. Love and prayers
