Like I said earlier, we are VERY THANKFUL that the Sharp corner that sliced her head when she tripped and fell, didn't catch her eye or do more damage.
Thank you for your prayers and concern.
~These pictures were taking on Monday morning, just 2 days after it happened. As you can see her little face is swollen some, but her cut is healing nicely.~
~ Spring/Easter Decor!~
I love Easter!
I always have!
I mean the fact that God so loved this world...including ME...so much that He sent His Only Begotton Son...JESUS...to die for our sins, is Incredible!
It's Awesome that Jesus was WILLING to die for our sins!
I LOVE the fact that Jesus didn't stay in the tomb, but arose again, and is at the right hand of the Father Interceding for YOU and for Me! :-)
~Some of you may have seen this fun idea on Pinterest. The girls helped me make a "cross" using baby Abigail's foot prints. If you haven't tried to do a baby's footprints on paper, they aren't easy.
Maybe I should have waited till Abigail was sleeping, but she is such a light sleeper, that that probably wouldn't have helped!
But, I'm happy with how they turned out! :-) ~
~Used my little bicycle with purple flowers as part of this decor, and I used the same paper I did Abigail's foot prints with, to make a dust jacket for a book, to add another touch of purple to this display.
(When you are on the mission field and you don't have many of your things nor decor with you, you have to be creative. Hee! Hee! :-)
~Phillip wrote, "He Is Risen" in 3-D type letters on my chalkboard, and I made a crown of thorns from a bush out in our back yard.~
~On the other side of our dinning room.~
~I wrote "He Lives" using Scrabble letters.~
~And in the kitchen where we eat....I took paper and made 2 banners...~
~And made some dust jackets for some more books to coordinate with my banner to put in the middle of the 2 banners.~
~And then I found this adorable TINY tin that says, "Tea" and fell in love with it.
When I got home it totally matched the colors of my banner. :-) ~
~Isn't this fun?~
~And then I helped the kids make handprints and we made a cross ...~
~and A wreath!~
~Even tiny Abigail stayed still for us to trace her hand. :-) ~
~I trust that y'all are having a Happy Easter Week...and have a wonderful Resurrection Lord's Day!
~Heather~
