Last night, I had the privilege of speaking to the ladies at Danville Holiness Church. It was a sweet group and we had such an enjoyable evening together.
There was a huge Thunder Storm shortly beforehand, but PRAISE JESUS by the time it was time to start, the sun came out and all was well.
~Cute ants and flowers.~
The decor was fun, the atmosphere was relaxing, the hot dog bar was good, and the tea / lemonade bar was amazing!
You could choose your unsweetened mint, green, or black tea, or lemonade, and then add some homemade syrups like Pineapple / mango, peach, or mixed berry, then top them off with lime, lemon, or orange wedges, mint leaves, or sliced strawberries.
The Lord led me to share with the ladies on Answers to prayer. I did my best to encourage the ladies to talk to Jesus like they would their best friend.
To pray like they were the BABY OF THEIR FAMILY!
Because God cares and wants to hear our petition. It's up to Him to decide what He wants to do with those petitions, but He wants to hear our heart!
We are looking at the bottom of our tapestry and just see the big ol' knots, and see the mismatching threads going everywhere, and feel the jab of the next needle going in, but God is looking at the top of our tapestry and is making something beautiful of our lives.
It was a delightful evening, and I felt privileged to get to be with that great group of ladies.
~LOADING THE U-HAUL TRUCK,
AND MOVING CHRIS, KIMBERLY, & STELLA'S
THINGS TO PA~
It was an intense Thursday as Chris, Phillip, and Elijah ran around looking for a U-Haul truck and car dolly. (The one they had reserved, fell through.)
So, instead of starting to load the truck at 11:00 AM, we started around 4:00 P.M. But, Jesus helped us get it all done and Chris, Kimberly, and Stella slept in our 5th wheel that night.
The next morning found Chris leaving with the U-haul pulling his car, and the rest of us came in Kimberly's car and our van.
While we were traveling to PA, Phillip was flying out to visit our Christian Nation Church and loved ones in Montana.
Dear Noah was a blessing preaching both services at Strait Creek!
C and Kimberly's new church family had a yummy supper waiting for us when we arrived, and yummy food for us to eat on while we were there.
We unloaded some on Friday night, and then finished on Saturday.
We didn't get a lot of organizing done while we were there, for we were too tired from the move, but Kimberly said she would organize when they got back to PA after Chris had worked his 2 week notice in OH.
Kimberly said that this house won't be her "Better Homes and Gardens era" but it is comfy and a stepping stone to getting their own home one day.
We had a good Lord's day with Chris' sister Hannah and her Quint, and their new church family in Pillow, PA.
Monday morning the kids and I left to go back to Ohio, and Chris, K, and Stella came later on that afternoon.
Tuesday found the kids running to Cinci for their music lessons.
We absolutely LOVED getting to have Chris, Kimberly, & Stella back with us for 2 more weeks. They stayed in our 5th wheel. We packed those 2 weeks full of FUN MEMORIES that will Last a life time!!!
Sunday was their last Sunday at our Strait Creek Church! :-(
They pulled away around noon yesterday for PA!
There were Lots of tears!! We will miss them more than we can express...but we know that Jesus will help them in PA and help us here too!
Now, here are a lot of fun pics!
