~A Fun Recipe, Some Men Arise pics, Christian N. Ch. Congress, My Fall Decor, & CNC fall picnic.

It seems that I go from event to event...in LIFE...& with my blog.  

I guess to quote our good friend Ron Arnold, 

I don't just take time to smell the flowers, I look for flowers to smell.  :-)  

But first, Let's cook up something Fast, Yummy, and Elegant!  

At Walmart, run to the cooler section near butter, and grab one of these "puff pastry" rolls, 

and some cream cheese, and a can of pie filling. (I chose Blackberry.)

Yummy Fruit / Cream Cheese Danishes

Preheat oven to around 415 degrees.

In a med. sized bowl, 

Place 2 blocks of room temp cream cheese ( 8 oz. each)

or you could buy tubs of pre-whipped cream cheese.

1/2 cup sugar

2 tsp. vanilla

Mix with mixer.

Roll out one of your puff pastries and cut into 12 even rectangles. 

(Don't worry if you don't quite get them even, I didn't. :-)

~Put some parchment paper on a large cookie sheet.

~Place each rectangle on cookie sheet with some room between them.

~Place the cream cheese mixture on the middle of each rectangle.

~Put a nice spoonful of fruit pie filling on top of the cream cheese. 

In a small bowl mix together your egg wash:

1 egg and 1 Tab. water beaten together.

With a pastry brush, brush the egg wash around the outside of your rectangles.

Place into preheated oven and bake for around 15-18 mins. or so.

ENJOY!!

If your guys haven't gone to a Men Arise yet, 

I would HIGHLY recommend it!

It is not just a fun Men's event...it is like a camp meeting for Men!

We are SO GLAD that Dad D. got to go!!!

God's Presence has been very close!

I am going to post some pics from our Wonderful Christian Nation Church Congress back in Sept.  

God truly met with us and it was like a Church Service.

This was taken of Phillip and I in Argentina, when Abigail was a baby.

We were headed out to celebrate our 20th anniversary.~

(This year, we just celebrated our 30th.)

~SOME OF MY FALL DECOR!~

If you know me, you know that I LOVE FALL!

I love the cozy knits, the boots, the hot yummy drinks, the pretty Falling leaves, the chilly weather, the snuggles, the staying at home more, the Thanking God for everything!

I have had fun adding some fun fall touches to our home.

My floors might need swept,

but I make sure that my house is tidy and decorated for my family.

~The other day, I came out of our house to go down to get our mail, and heard Phillip praying to the top of his lungs.  That is not an unusual sound, he is a prayer warrior!

On this day, I immediately joined him and asked Jesus to answer whatever prayer for which he was praying.

Then when I got to the mail box, I looked up and saw him sitting on his tractor praying.

Then I realized he was on a zoom call Prayer Meeting....praying for MEN ARISE!

How, I Love that Man! 

He LOVES Jesus first...and Loves me and the kids next!!!

And spends his time PRAYING for LOTS of people!

We were so excited about the picnic and campout!

~I know you are shocked, but I decorated outside my tent. :-) ~

~Dear Pastor and Grammy did TONS of work behind the scenes to make this happen.~

~The sky was so pretty that night.~

~I was so happy that Chris, Kimberly, and Stella got to come.~

~Saturday, Oct. 4th, around the fire, after camping.~

~Then we ran to the Lunch bucket to be at the signing of our dear friends, 

Steve and Karen Mills' new devotional book, 

"Deep Sea Living With Jesus."

~We ran home, and got home at 2:00, 

unloaded the van, then ran to Chet and Brooke Waters' fall party.  

They invited several people from several different churches around Hillsboro.  

It was a nice time and yummy food.~

~Sunday AM, I woke up inspired to make a pretty Fall table for my family.  

When I set a tablescape, I always walk around and SHOP my house for things that I want to add to my table.

A few weeks ago, We were cleaning out our shop when I found a box of these adorable green dessert dishes, and I fell in love.  

I thought maybe they belonged to my Mother-in-law, so reached out to her and she said they were not hers.

I have no idea where they came from, but I knew right away, that I wanted to use them for a Fall table.

~Last Sunday, 

God's sweet presence moved in 

BEFORE WE EVEN STARTED SERVICE.  

We were walking around the Church Praising Jesus and crying and shouting.

A few minutes later, 

I was already playing the piano 

(I always play a 10 minute prelude, 

it helps to get people's minds on Jesus and ready to worship!)

when baby Stella's parents walked in holding her in this ADORABLE outfit!

I THEN had a hard time worshipping. ;-)

~I decorated this room for Fall. 

Years ago I got this little church on Clearance.

I'm so glad, for it goes great in our Church.~

~Little Stella...is the cutest little pumpkin in the patch. 

(except that little Adelynn ties with her for being the cutest too.)

~After the picnic, Grammy E. gave me a pumpkin and these pretty mums.~

~Monday I had to run the kids to Maysville for dentist appointments.

So, of course we stopped at Blake's Pharmacy and got a dollar ice cream cone.~

~Mary made us strawberry scones the other day.

Not real fall-ish, but DELICIOUS! :-D

Thursday night at Strait Creek Church, the Lord met with us as we took prayer requests 

and Bombarded Heaven in behalf of many needs!!

I love it that we can 

"LEARN TO MOVE MEN THROUGH GOD, BY PRAYER."

After Church, we served the desserts that I had made that day.
