~Camp Victory, Christian and Bre's wedding, & events leading up to our Comargo Camp~

I cannot believe that I haven't even blogged about Camp Victory, and now Comargo Camp is history! But, then when I look at my camera on my phone...I have over 32,000 pics...I realize that we PACK a ton of things into our lives!  Serving Jesus, serving our family, serving our parents, serving Strait Creek Church and our community, and others!

So, I will post about Camp Victory, and then hope to post about Comargo soon!

The Lord gave us a wonderful Camp Victory!! God's sweet presence was super close.

PRAYER AND THE PRAYER MEETINGS

are what help carry this camp!!

In the morning prayer meetings, you will see young children, tweens, teens, people in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, and then some very seasoned saints...all worshipping Jesus, praying for camp and bringing their petitions to God.

Another thing that makes this camp special is getting to be with our dear friends, the Spiveys, the Bryan Jones, The McDowells, The Andrew Smiths, and getting to get better acquainted with Clint and Alyssa, and lots of others.

Also, we were so happy and surprised when we found out that our Sarah, Josh, and Adelynn were going to get to come, Josh's parents the Stampers got to come, as well as a my sister Laura and brother-in-law Daryl, and their Darla, and their son Bryan, who sings bass in the HSBC quartet.

Another plus, is that my big bro Andrew, lives relatively close, and his Grant and Courtney live very close to the camp grounds.  It was so fun to get to go to Grant and Courtney's house for supper.

Alright, Here goes LOTS of fun pics!

~ENJOY!!~

But, if the girls lost, they could pour a bucket of cold water over her head!
The girls lost, so they poured water over her head!!

~OVER TO BE WITH MY PARENTS FOR A NIGHT.~

We surprised my sister Laura and Daryl and their family, who were arriving after us.

~Abigail comparing her foot size with Gram's~
~When I was about 16, I wrote this poem and stuck it in the wedding book where my Moma had the wedding pics of my 2 brothers and my sister. The last 20 pages were for my wedding pics some day.

Moma was so shocked to see this when she went to show the wedding pics off the next time. :-)

My poem says:
To Whom it May Concern...

I'm the youngest and I'm waiting,
But the problem is, I'm not dating.
The next 20 pages are empty you see
So why not think about marrying me.

(Oops! and My Moma always told me proposing was the guy's job, oh well! HA!)
Love, Heather

~Fun old family pic.~
