Thank you so very much for your prayers for our W.O.W. ladies' retreat! The Lord really helped us girls as we sang a dinner concert / worship service Friday evening, Protected us through a tornado warning and high winds and rain thru the night, and then helped Moma and I as we spoke at the W.O.W. ladies retreat on Saturday. It was a very special time and God met with us. The committee and their helpers had done such a great job at decorating the gym. It all looked so cute and made us feel so special. It was so fun to visit with the ladies, shop at the booths, and be with my Moma, and Kimberly, baby Stella, Sarah, baby Adelynn, Mary, and Abigail!!
We got home at 9:30 P.M. on Saturday night, and prayed for strength for our BUSY Sunday the next day! You see, Baby Stella was to be dedicated at Christian Nation Church the next morning, and there would be 24 guests coming to our house for Sunday dinner!
So, the Lord helped us to set a pretty table, and helped Phillip and I as we practiced the sweet song that Kimberly had written for baby Stella's dedication!
The dedication was so precious! We were so glad that Pastor Eisenhart could dedicate Baby Stella, since He is the one that dedicated Baby Kimberly, years ago. The Lord's presence was close and it was a sweet time. The Lord helped Phillip and I as we sang Kimberly's song at the dedication, that she had written for baby Stella.
However, it was a bittersweet service...because it was to be our last SUNDAY service at Christian Nation Church, since the next Sunday we would start our Sunday morning services at our Strait Creek Christian Nation Church. We still attend CNC on Wednesday nights when we can.
We are still full-time Faith Missionaries with Global Holiness Missions. Our Strait Creek Christian Nation Church is a daughter church of Christian Nation Church.
Thursday-Sunday, March 20-23, we had special services at our Strait Creek Christian Nation Church, to begin our Sunday morning services. Phillip invited Doug and Pam Cox to come and sing and him to preach. Jesus really met with us and gave us some very special services!! We enjoyed getting to know the Coxes, and we were so grateful for all the dear people who came to attend one or more of the special services. Several nights we packed "snack sacks" to pass out to everyone, since some had over an hour to drive back home.
And now, Please enjoy Lots of pics...and some of our sweet Grandgirls!!!
~On Thursday, we had a practice session...to get ready for the WOW dinner "service" the next day. It was interesting trying to practice...in between feeding babies, changing babies, babies laying down for naps, etc. but Jesus helped us to get it done. :-)
(Don't be confused, Sarah is holding K's baby, and K is holding S's baby. :-)
~So fun that the guys got to visit ...just missing Noah.~
~Cousin Laura and U. Bill had given me a coffee gift card to our Local "Queen Beanery"...so we ran and got a treat.~
~It was so nice to have Josh, Sarah, and Adelynn worship with us Thursday night.~
~After church we went over to help Kimberly get some things done...because her in-laws were coming in on Friday night....right after she got back from singing with us at WOW.
Here Adelynn is enjoying Baby Stella's toy.~
~SHELBYVILLE WOW LADIES' RETREAT!~
20 minutes before we were to leave our house to head to the WOW retreat in IN, Phillip noticed that OUR BRAND NEW TIRE, WAS HEADING TOWARDS A FLAT!
He called and got us in at Walmart...and they added air, and we headed to IN.
(They said they could not find anything wrong with it.)
However, it wasn't fixed...and kept going low on us.
But, Praise Jesus we just got it patched.
~On the way to IN...we took this sweet pic of Sarah's Adelynn and Mary at a stop.~
~Moma and a dear friend from forever ago.~
~I sat up a table with our CDs and prayer cards.~
~I had a friend snap some pics of us before the WOW dinner concert started. The theme for WOW was
"From Generation to Generation we will praise thee!!"
As far as we know, on Moma's side there are at least 6 generations who served or are serving Jesus!
Praise Jesus, there were 4 Generations of us at that WOW!~~I started playing the piano when I was 4. But, when I was 11, the Edwards family held a revival near us and I heard Esther Edwards Conor play. That was it! I had just decided what style I wanted to play on the piano. :-D I went home and began to try to play very similar to her style.
Esther is a sweetheart. I was glad to get this sweet pic of her, my sweet Moma, and I.~
~They did a great job decorating with antiques and lace, and all things feminine.~
~It was so nice to have Sis. Brock there too. I love her to pieces.~
~Sweet Little Adelynn~
...and baby Stella, Kimberly, and Gram in the background.
~Dear Sis. Campbell sat on the front row and was such an encouragement to us as we sang!!~
~Thank the Lord, I was able to rock sweet baby Stella to sleep...so that both babies went to sleep right before we went up to sing.~
~It was so fun to worship and sing with all my girls again!!~
~I was so GLAD that Kimberly and baby Stella could come!
It made for a LONG tiring weekend for Kimberly, since baby Stella was getting dedicated and her in-laws were coming in, but Her music and violin and spirit added a lot to our music service.~
~They asked Esther to come up and play an offertory and she grabbed me to play an impromptu piano duet. :-) It was fun to play the piano together!~
~That night there were high winds and tornado watches or warnings, but praise Jesus He protected us all!~
~The meals at WOW were delicious. Here are the donuts and pastries for breakfast the next morning.~
~We love dear Sis. Brock!~
~Gathering in for breakfast. The meals were so yummy!~
~Abigail won a prize.~
~We missed Kimberly & baby Stella on Saturday, but we were soooo GLAD that they could come on Friday!!
I guess someone else must have taken the pics of Moma and I speaking, and I do not seem to have those pics...but the Lord did help us as we spoke! ~~They had a fun coffee bar...which we all visited frequently. ~
~The Lord gave us a fun safe trip back to Ohio and we got in around 9:30 P.M.
Look Who got to try bananas for the first time!!
Adelynn was in LOVE ...as you can tell by her face.
We were cracking up at her.
What a dolly!
~Sunday morning, March 16th...Mary and her cousin Sophia helped me put together this Chocolate Brownie strawberry Trifle. Basically you use brownies instead of squares of angel food cake. I found the recipe on Pinterest.~Baby Stella Gets Dedicated to Jesus!!~
~The Lord helped Phillip and I sing the sweet song that Kimberly wrote for baby Stella!~
~It was so nice to have so many people there to celebrate Stella. Uncle Michael and Aunt Beth and their kids got to come as well!!~~We were so happy that Janie and U. Michael did a great job taking lots of great pics!~
~I was so glad that Pastor Eisenhart could dedicate Baby Stella since he dedicated Baby Kimberly years ago!~~Kimberly hand dipped Oreo cookies and decorated them with drizzle and little hearts!
She stayed up ALL NIGHT LONG making these treats to pass out at Stella's dedication!
They were adorable and yummy!
She had Mary and her cousin Sophia, and Abigail and her cousin Ava pass them out.~
~I was so glad that Daddy and Moma could be there! Daddy loves to visit with Bro. Eisenhart.~~Kimberly snapped these adorable pics of baby Stella!~
~Sarah snapped this picture of her Daddy praying on our very last Lord's Day at CNC.
It is bittersweet, and some of us have shed some tears.
But, we are excited to see what Jesus is going to do here at
Strait Creek CNC!
So grateful for our Dear CNC Church Family! We love them!
And look forward to every Wednesday that we can, to go back and worship with them.~
~Such cute treats...and they even have a tiny heart on them!~
~I had fun setting a fun table to celebrate baby Stella! I was in Dollar General and saw packs of 4 plates,
2 polka dotted and 2 stripped.
They were for sell for $5 for 4 plates.
Since I needed about 20, I did NOT want to spend $25!!
Then, I saw a sign that said, "50% off of housewares!"
So, I took 4 packs up front and asked if they could please ring them up to see if they were 50% off, or $2.50 for 4 plates.
The guy rang them up and said that they rang up for $1.25 a PACK OF 4 PLATES!!!
YAY!!!
So, I ran back and got the last pack and paid $6.25 for 20 plates! ~When we got home, Baby Adelynn got given to Gramp, and Baby Stella got given to Gram. I walked through and thought it was so cute. They were holding the babies while the rest of us got Sunday dinner on.~
~I enjoyed adding Billy Button flowers to my tablescape.~
~It was fun visiting with everyone...that afternoon.~
~The Kline grandparents enjoying baby Stella~
~Baby Adelynn~
~These babies are so adorable and chunky! I love to see them flourishing!
Praise Jesus and Great job, Mommies!~
~It was awesome having around 24 of us to worship at Strait Creek Church.~
~And it was wonderful getting to sing with my older girls again.~
~It was so nice to have Daddy preach that night.~
~Monday morning's parfait for breakfast.~
~And baby Stella came over with pompoms on her little head.~
~Cousins Sophia and Jeremiah...got to stay over until Monday afternoon. The first time they have been to our house in years. Because it is hard for Grandpa and Grandma to travel now, we always go up their way.~
~It was so nice to have my dear parents here for a couple days!!~
~Strait Creek Christian Nation Church Revival~
~The girls and I ran down to the church and did some cleaning, took out a lot of the leaves in the flower bed, and added some artificial daffodils.
In warm weather, Mrs. Fields does a great job keeping that flower bed beautiful...but I knew it was too early to plant anything.
~My little place where Jesus and I talk together...~
~Normally I have a lot of people over to our house for a snack during special services. (Last year, in 6 days, I had 90 people over for a snack or a meal.)But this time I knew that several older people were coming and driving a long ways, and they would not want to come over because it would make them have an even later night.
So, Several evenings we packed "snack sacks" to pass out to everyone.
We had fun adding a sandwich and yummy goodies for them to enjoy on their way home. :-D~Bro. Cox visiting with Bro. Fields.~
~It was so fun to have our dear friends the Kemps come for service.~~I think Stella thinks she got one too many kisses that night. Ha!~~God's sweet presence was close!~
~The Lord really helped Doug and Pam Cox sing...and him preach.~
~It was so nice to have our Associate Pastor Paul Pilmore and Levi come out for service.~
~We greatly appreciate all the visitors that came and visited our services.~~The Lord has really been helping Elijah as he plays his bass for service. He has a great ear...and he and I think a lot alike, so we really enjoy playing music for Jesus together.~~On Friday afternoon we invited the Coxes over for an early supper. We met them way back on deputation in 2004 or 2005, but we wanted to catch up. (Doug would have gone to my Daddy's school in TN, but I would have been around 2 years old, so do not remember him.)~We served them carnitas, fresh lemonade, and yummy banana cake.
Here Mrs. Cox and Mary are lightly frying the corn tortillas.
~One night Mrs. Fields made yummy fruit cups to pass out along with our snack sacks.~
~Cute little Stella showed up being a "sheep" one night.~
~During the special services I "made" new Living Room curtains. They are drop clothes from Harbor Freight. :-D
~THE CURTAINS BEFORE...
~THE CURTAINS AFTER.
~Dear Mrs. J brought a goody bag to Abigail!~
~Trying to get baby Stella to smile.~
~It was so nice to have Philip and Miranda to come out for a couple services.~~SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES BEGIN!~AS FAR AS WE KNOW, LAST SUNDAY, MARCH 23rd IS THE FIRST SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE,
WHERE A PREACHER HAS PREACHED IN STRAIT CREEK CHURCH, IN AT LEAST 20 YEARS!
The neighborhood children's parents had told us that they would come.
So, we started out our Sunday AM service with 3 children's songs and a 7 minute Bible Story.
And I had treats prepared in case they came.
They didn't...but we are praying that God will reach them one of these days!
~Mary snapped this neat pic of the church Sunday AM.~
~The Lord's Sweet Presence was so CLOSE that Sunny Sunday Morning!
There were 14 of us...and God the Holy Spirit showed up to meet with us!
~I used my new plates again, just added a fun napkin,
and tucked the billy buttons down inside the napkins.~
~Bro. Cox and Abigail watching a storm come in...while enjoying the shelter of our front porch.~
~Mrs. Cox told Elijah that if he knew their special that night, he could play along. He didn't know it...but did a phenomenal job playing along. It was making our family smile...knowing that all of his runs and all he was doing...was coming straight from Jesus, since he didn't even have a clue where the song was going.
~Pretty flowers that Mary and Abigail brought to me.~
~A hot chocolate ...while Abigail and I played catch up on Homeschooling...after busy days.~
~Jesus let me find these adorable matching cups (Hearth & Home) at Goodwill!
Morning Beautiful & Morning Handsome.
~Baby Stella~
~Baby Adelynn~
~THAT BABY STELLA brings a lot of joy to our little Strait Creek Church! <3 We all just melt when she (carried in by her parents) comes in.
(I know baby Adelynn does the same at her parent's Church in Crooksville! ) <3
Babies just spread JOY!
Babies are GIFTS FROM JESUS!
~My Moma (Gram) said that Elijah gave her this little blue finger puppet years ago! She has carried it in her purse all these years! When she would switch purses, she would put it in the new purse. <3
She gave it back...and now I carry it in my purse....for my grand girls! ~Stella "went on a walk" to come see Grandpapa and Grammy!
(She has a jean skirt on...it just got pulled up by the carrier.)
~Abigail doing her schooling...while watching baby Stella!~
~Praising Jesus for Chickens and Fresh eggs!~
~Thank you for stopping by,
for your prayers for our Strait Creek Church,
and for your interest in our family!
I Love my friends and followers!
