~OUR HUGE ANSWER TO PRAYER...& the Dickinson Christmas~

Many of you may have seen this HAPPY NEWS on FB, but if not, Josh and Sarah announced to us that we are going to be

~Grandpa and Grammy!~

(Phillip and I have been discussing what we wanted to be called for months.  He loves old school and is traditional, and has always wanted to be called,  "GRANDPA!"

I chose to be called, "Grammy!"  I loved my Grandma Bryan, and my Grandmother Scarbrough, and I liked other names as well, but Grammy seemed to fit me!  :-)

So, on to our HUGE ANSWER TO PRAYER!!!

Josh and Sarah gave me my birthday gift a little late.  They gave it to me the night of our Church Christmas Program.  (I didn't know Kimberly was videoing me for Sarah when I opened it.)

I pulled out a yummy chocolate bar, then looked down in the gift bag and saw the most adorable pair of baby booties and a tiny little ultrasound!  I started squealing for JOY and then started weeping!!

You will remember that Josh and Sarah had a tubal pregnancy back in August, and her tube erupted and of course we lost baby and nearly lost Sarah! :-(

~Years ago when We miscarried our Baby Mercy & Baby Treasure, I was shopping at Christmas time and saw this sign.  I started crying right there in the aisle.
This year it was appropriate to put it on our tree for Josh and Sarah's little one in Heaven!

~"One of the Best ways to have a little HEAVEN in your home,
is to have someone you LOVE in Heaven."

We are soooo thrilled that Jesus has given them another baby.  Please join me in praying for this new little Life to come in August!!!
WE ARE SOOOO EXCITED!!!

~I LOVE ALL OF THESE CUTE PICTURES!!~

~Sarah's little blouse says,
"All I want for Christmas is you"...with little baby feet on it.~

~SPEAKING OF BABIES....
I wonder where OUR BABY went?
These adorable pics of Baby Abigail keep popping up in Memories and I just love seeing them!~

~Bro. Jowers captured this one years ago, at The Golden Lamb Restaurant.~
~Cannot believe Abigail is 9 now.
She is growing up on us.
If anyone knew me as I child,
Abigail is my MINI-ME!!!~
~Christmas at Grandpa and Grandma Dickinson's house.~

~Beth and I cracked up when we saw that the HOT SAUCE BOTTLE was the centerpiece on the table.
Silly Mary put it in there instead of a candle. :-)
At the Dickinson household, Hot sauce as the centerpiece is very fitting.  They nearly DRINK it. :-) ~
~Enjoying the bunnies.~
~Green Chili Burrows!  DELICIOUS!!~

~Dad D. Saw this sign at Goodwill and thought It was funny,
so we got it for him as part of his Christmas gift.

HE DOES NOT FEEL THIS WAY!
We thought it would be funny to put this in his man cave for a conversation piece.~

~We all went to church with Dad D. in Greenville on Sunday A.M.~

~I made pozole for the Dickinsons.~

~We gave each other simple gifts.
Just being together, was so much FUN!~

~New Year's Eve Gathering.~

~The Flings came to visit.~
We heard that the Flings were going to be in town and invited them over for a few days.
We had such a fun time playing games, eating together, taking them to Miller's Amish store, having family devotions together and visiting.~
~Game time~
~These boys have been great friends for years.
Here they are drawing together.~
~Family Devotions.~
(I got these last 2 pics from Michele.)

~I love this quote about our Great Big God!!~

~It has become a wonderful tradition that
My Brother Andrew and sweet Vonnie.
Tyler and Taylor come through to see us around New Years.
They normally come to our house, but this time
we met them at Skyline!
It was so fun to be with them for a couple hours.~

~L to R:Noah, Elijah, Taylor, Tyler.~
~Someone gifted us some yummy Latte mix, so this past Saturday, I made myself one....
~Turned on some fun Christmas music,
And then went and sorted my closet,
got rid of things,
color-coded blouses, & organized!!
The mess all over our bed.
~ALL DONE NOW!!!
WHAT A GREAT FEELING TO BE ORGANZIED!!~
~Enjoying our Card Rack again this year!~
Thank you, Sweet Jesus, for all of our Dear Friends!
Friends and Family are some of God's biggest Blessings!
~Recently Abigail and I got inspired to make Beignets and...
a cranberry cheese ball.  Delish!!~

~Our Dear Holiness Friend invited Phillip and I to join them and others in praying more in 2024!

If you want to join us, we would love it.
At Least for a start, We are trying to pray for at least an hour or more a day in January.
It doesn't matter what time of the day, just PRAY!

Let us HUMBLE ourselves,
BEG GOD TO FORGIVE OUR SINS,
AND HEAL OUR NATION,
Pray for our Holiness Church,
that God would renew the HOLINESS in our Churches,
that God would call forth Labors into His Harvest Field.
that God would help us each one to
DRAW CLOSER TO HIM IN 2024!!~
