It was so nice to be at home with my family. They spoiled me. On Saturday, Our Dear Pastor and his wife brought my Mother's Day gift from our wonderful church ALL the way out to me!! So we invited them in for lunch. We had such a fun visit with them.
Elijah had a birthday. He was dying to invite at least one friend over, so we invited his great friend Levi over to spend the day with him!
Our great friends Jim and Lila Kemp asked if we could hold a revival at their church. So, we had that revival May 14th-17th. Jesus helped us and met with us, for which we are very grateful!!!
~Mother's Day~
We invited them to eat dinner with us. We love Pastor and Grammy to pieces!!!~
~If you see my outfit above, I dressed to match my tablescape...without realizing it. :-) ~

~My Sweet friend Germayne Blackcalf "Creative Native" made these
adorable coffee sleeves on the left!
Then we got some Starbucks coffee and yummy Cold Stone Kettle corn.~
~I am such a Blessed Mommy to get to have:
Kimberly, Sarah, Noah, Elijah, Mary, and Abigail!!
I have wanted to be a Mommy since I was 3, and Thank the Lord for allowing me
the privilege to have my 6 sweet children!!
(During the Quarantine Abigail outgrew all of her Shoes,
so she was wearing socks. :-)~

~On Mother's Day we watched Salem Wesleyan Methodist Church service~
~For my Mother's Day Gift from Sarah...
She set me a Beautiful table for our Sunday dinner!!
She used some of her sweet Beautiful china.
Years ago when we were visiting FL, She had seen this China at the Hobe Sound Thrift Store, and Fell in LOVE with it!
When She and I went back to the store, they had a deal going on that we could reach into a bag and withdraw a piece of paper that would reveal the percentage we would get off of our purchase. We drew out 20% off and were thrilled to have that off of our China Purchase.
Phillip and I bought this China for Sarah for her birthday.~
~The Pretty delicate bowl in the middle is Sarah's China.~
~Gifts from my Children~
~One of Kimberly's gifts to me was she made the entire Roast Beef Sunday dinner,
Complete with these Delicious brownies with Freeze dried strawberries!~
~Kimberly's dessert!
Yum~
~I got some new soap and Kitchen towels...so my kitchen feels like it got a "HUG!"~
~Kimberly also ordered me a
"Joy is not cancelled!" blouse.
~Coffee Time with my Kimberly at a local Christian Coffee Shop called...~
~Elijah turns 12~
~Mary brought him Breakfast in bed!~
~Elijah loves Gorillas / Monkeys, so I ordered the plates and napkins on line and ...
~Used His own Gorilla he has had for years as the center piece.~
~Dairy Queen ice cream cake~~Elijah and Levi~
~EASY PINACOLADA PUNCH~
One gallon White Water Wave Hawiian Punch
And 2 liters Gingerale
Ice
I threw this together hoping it would be yummy, and it did not disappoint!
It was Delish!!
A fast, Cool, and refreshing summer drink!
~The kids laid down some old tarps, squirted them with Dawn dish soap, and sprayed them with a water hose and had a blast sliding down the hill.~
~Some very muddy kids~~We ordered these gummy bears for their party favors. They are 18X's the size of a regular gummy bear. We were praying that God would help them come in on time, and He DID!!~
~Abigail washing dishes~
~One of our kids finished school, so we took everyone to get some Ice Cream, and to support the local Locust Grove Dairy Bar~
~It was fun to have Joshua join us for several days.
We helped him to SURPRISE Sarah!
She had NO CLUE he was coming, and was working at the kitchen island when he walked in!
She was THRILLED to have him come!! ~
~A Dear Neighbor brought us 2 of these signs that say,"SLOW CHILDREN AT PLAY", so Phillip and Noah put them up on either side of our property to try to help slow down the fast drivers.~
~We finally got our trampoline set up here at our new house, and our kids are thrilled.
(This is the trampoline that our kids raised their own $ and bought at our last house.) ~
~Coffee Bar~
I kept looking at my little coffee bar area and wanted to change it up some, but wasn't sure how.
I love a fun coffee atmosphere, and it was needing some help.
So, I prayed that Jesus would help me.
I failed to get a "before" pic, but let me just tell you that there was AN OLD PHONE JACK on the wall,
and I was unsure how to hide it.
Then, I thought of that Green metal coffee cup
(that I had had hanging elsewhere),
and tried it over the phone jack...
it just HIDES that PHONE JACK perfectly!! :-).
Thank you, Dear Jesus!
The kids use them all the time.~
~Phillip, Sarah, and I all drew cups on my chalkboard. (I got the Chalkboard idea off of Pinterest.)
With a family of 8,
having lived in 5 different countries,
and having experienced lots of fun drinks,
my kitchen sink looks like this Daily! HA!
We love:
Hot Coffee
Iced Coffee
Hot Tea
Iced Tea
Black Tea
Chinese Tea
Hot Chocolate
Argentin Mate
~I wanted a "But First Coffee" sign,
without having to spend anything.
So, My Sarah drew this for me,
using a chalk marker,
on some black scrapbooking paper,
and I put it in a frame I already had. Voila!
~It is my little happy Coffee Spot.~
~One day, while the rest of the family was elsewhere,
I made Coffee Floats for Kimberly, Sarah, and I.
~And This is an iced Green Tea with Pomegranate that I enjoyed today. ~~Elijah snapped this pic of Joshua busy in our living room.~
~REVIVAL~
~Our dear Friends Jim and Lila Kemp asked if we would hold a revival for them, and we decided on May 14th-17th.
~Phillip preaching during the Revival.~
~Our family and Joshua the first night of the revival.~
~On the first night, it was so nice to have Phillip's cousins, the Blacks, come to our revival.
We haven't seen Lyndal Black since 2001.~
~The Kemps and us with some of their dear people.During this Revival, God moved and there were people that came to the altar and gave their hearts to Jesus.
There's a new name Written Down in Glory!!!
Thank you, Dear Jesus!
Please pray for Betty and Pam, and others that God will keep them in the Faith and close to Him. ~
~Cousins~
~Our family provided 3 specials nightly during the revival.~
~On Friday night the Kemps took us to Whit's Frozen Custard....DELICIOUS!!~
~We so enjoyed worshipping with our dear friends the Kemps and their dear congregation!!
The Kemps and us go back to Gospel Center Church Days in AZ.~
~Kimberly and I made Quiche for brunch one day.~
~We got to go back to our very own Church.Elijah and Levi were so happy to be together again at church.~
~It was fun to have Joshua with us too.~
~Noah being an usher...on the right.~
~Since Abigail gave $3.00 to help IHC, she got her very own letter from Bro. James Plank!~
~On Monday we went to see Miller's Amish Store. It was so fun walking around.~
~Abigail did her own shopping in the dent and bent section of Miller's~
~On the way to Miller's, We passed these long horn cattle...~
~So neat~
~Today we had music lessons via FaceTime.~
~The girls have been working on a violin trio,
so they played it for their teacher, Mrs. Sandy Collins.~
in Ethridge, TN and
in Friendsville, TN, this coming Sunday, May 24th,
and in Salisbury, NC, May 31st.
Your prayers are appreciated as we travel.
And since a lot of the family could not come to our sweet GG's funeral, we will be having a Memorial Service for my Sweet GG on May 30th!
I just learned that Ravi Zacharias just passed away. Reading what Franklin Graham had to say about his life made me want to LIVE EVEN CLOSER TO JESUS,
because we never know when It is our time to Go.
Let's Keep PRAYING for each other!
~HEATHER~
