~We are super Grateful to Jesus for sending in the money to help our Strait Creek Church get a new parking lot!! We desperately needed a new one. There wasn't very much parking, a lot of the parking was in the grass, which slumped down and became a mud hole when it rained!
Thank you, Dear Jesus, for the new parking lot!

~Elijah turns 17~
Where, oh Where, did time go? I cannot believe that my baby boy turned 17!
He is our Very Energetic,
Loves people to pieces,
Very Active,
Loves Jesus,
Very Talented,
Gotta-be-doing-something young man!
He makes us laugh all the time.
We are so happy that Jesus sent Elijah to us.
We invited a few friends over to spend the day with our kids. I wanted to keep it small and simple, and not a lot of energy. :-D

Frisbees are what Phillip used to throw.
Throwing Discs are much different than throwing Frisbees.
~These babies have to endure uncle 'Lijah's teasing. :-) ~

We live REAL LIFE...
running, going, doing, & Ministering...
so my house is never perfect!!
But, I would far rather Touch my kids Lives &
Take time to run to an event to touch someone's else's life,
than to have a perfect house and not have time to Touch Lives.
At my funeral, my kids won't talk about my perfect house...
But I hope they will focus on
Mommy ....
Loving Jesus,

& always taking time to celebrate each event in their life...

~Last Tuesday, we ran to Hillsboro and grabbed some UDF icecream..."buy 2 pints, get 2 for FREE"...
To celebrate that Elijah was done with Algebra II and
nearly done with the rest of his subjects for 10th grade,
Mary was done with 8th,
And Abigail was nearly done with 4th!
We have had a crazy busy year!
Our first semester included Uncle Bill & Cousin Laura living with us for several months
until they found a home,
Phillip being gone to Colombia for 3 weeks,
and at the same time Kimberly having baby Stella,
and having complications afterwards...
that all made for a crazy first semester!
Our second semester has been full of traveling and ministry as well, so we Thank the Lord for His help!

~A friend brings us yummy food, which is such a blessing.
A lot of it comes from Sam's.
The other day he brought us 2 packages of "OX TAILS!"
So, Phillip helped me make "Ox Tail Soup!" :-D
It was pretty good.
You just boiled the ox tail, took off the meat, and it tasted like Stew.~
