~THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR PHILLIP AND SARAH
while they were in Colombia!!!!
The Lord really helped Phillip and Sarah in Colombia!! God helped with the paperwork that needed to be done, and with the Live church services that were held nightly!
And they so enjoyed being with our Dear Colombian family/friends that we all love!!
They wish they could have traveled more to see the other pastors and people, but doing the paperwork in Bogota this time made that impossible!
Phillip and Sarah had to pay $100 each for their covid tests :-( and then we all had to PRAY that their results would get to them in time!
God answered that prayer and they got their results in enough time to fly HOME
on Tuesday, March 23rd!!! Thank you, Sweet Jesus!!
~Phillip and Bro. Jaime, Pastor Jimmy's dear Daddy.~
~Sweet Sis. Sofia, Pastor Jimmy's mother sent me some yummy candied almonds. :-) ~
~Pastor Jimmy and Sis. Early and girls sent us this YUMMY Expresso coffee!!~
~Bro. Otoniel sent us this yummy native candy.~
~What I posted the day that P and S were flying home!~
~Pics Sarah took while traveling home with Daddy.~
~Phillip standing in front of a store called,
"Forever Heather!" ~
~Sarah and her Josh were THRILLED to be back together! Josh was able to pick them up from the airport, which was a HUGE Blessing to me, since our niece Brittany H. was having her Senior Violin recital for her Master's degree, right at the same time they were flying into the airport.
So, Josh picked Phillip and Sarah up, and took them to our house.
The rest of us that were at Brittany's recital headed home and we were able to beat them home.
Mrs. Sofia, Pastor Jimmy's Mom made Sarah's hat, and gave it to her. :-) ~SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE!!
A few weeks ago, I came up with a FUN SURPRISE!!
I mentioned to Kimberly that if she could take a couple personal days off from her school, then she could come home, SURPRISE Brittany and be at her recital, and then
SURPRISE Phillip and Sarah since they were flying in from Colombia that same night!!
Also, my parents were coming home with us to spend a few days with us.
(they had seen Kimberly at the recital, but did NOT know that Dad and Mom D. were at our house. :-)
On Saturday, Dad D. called and told us that he and Mom were going to come on Tuesday and stay in their 5th wheel. :-)
(I DID NOT TELL Dad D. that Kimberly or my parents were coming that night!)
SOOOO, Kimberly and Chris did come to OH,
she DID SURPRISE Brittany and her family,
Then we hurried home and she SURPRISED
Grandpa and Grandma!!
And my parents were THRILLED when they learned that Grandpa and Grandma were here, and Dad and Mom D. were THRILLED to learn that my parents were here! :-)
Then we HID Kimberly, Chris, Grandpa and Grandma in the back hallway of our house.
When Josh, Phillip and Sarah came in the front door, there was a great reunion..., much hugging and laughter,
but then a few minutes later,
out came Kimberly and Chris,
and
then Grandpa and Grandma,
and the
FAMILY REUNION GOT EVEN GREATER!!
I was SOOO EXCITED that I had pulled off all the surprises, that I was clapping and could hardly contain my EXCITEMENT!
There were also tears of JOY!
Phillip and Sarah could NOT BELIEVE that Kimberly, Chris, and Grandpa and Grandma, and Gramp and Gram were all here!! :-)
It felt like CHRISTMAS being all together!!
I was so glad that God worked it out for us all to be together. Both my parents and my in-laws have not been well, so to have them both here at the same time, was a God-Gift!
(Their welcoming table.
I found the fun lemon paper plates, napkins, and straws at Dollar General.)
~Elijah thought of the yellow bucket with lemons.~

~WE HAD SO MUCH FUN BEING TOGETHER!!!
I COULD NOT HAVE PLANNED IT ANY BETTER!!!
JESUS LET US ENJOY 2 DAYS OF VISITING,
PLAYING INSTRUMENTS,
HAVING FAMILY ALTAR,
PRAYING,
SINGING,
AND LAUGHING TOGETHER!!!

~And then some had to start leaving.
Josh had to leave first, and then Chris and Kimberly had to hit the road to go back to NC.~
~On Thursday night, I decided to bring out our China and set a pretty table for my in-laws, my parents, and us.~
~I made a "Taste Of Home Autumn Pork Chops" recipe, that is DELISH!!
My sweet friend Clarissa in South Dakota made it for us and we really enjoyed it, so I enjoyed making it for us on Thursday night.~
~And I made a berry cobbler~
~On Friday morning, Gramp and Gram needed to head back home.
They took us all to Ponderosa for a yummy lunch before they went to IN.~
~We stood in the parking lot of Ponderosa and held hands and prayed together before we parted ways.~
~Noah mowed the lawn for the first time this season, so Sarah took Kimberly's place and took Noah an ICED COFFEE. ~
~Dad came to church with us on Sunday.
He enjoyed visiting with Pastor E., Bro. Steve Hoschar,...
~Bro. David Miller, and Rob Kennedy.~
~Sunday dinner~
~Elijah invited our Assoc. pastor's son, Levi over.~
~I went "ALL OUT" on Sunday dinner dessert...a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich. :-) ~
~Our family sang in church on Sunday evening.~
~Phillip brought me this CUTE little white pitcher from Colombia.~
~I'm afraid those bunnies are going to get to the jelly beans. ~
~We are loving having Dad and Mom Dickinson staying here in their 5th wheel.
Dad is helping Phillip with some projects.
Dad and Mom eat some of their meals in their 5th wheel, but the other evening, Phillip and I marinated pork chops with the marinade that Bro. Phillip Knisely from Yuma, AZ had given us, and then Phillip grilled them for us.
The pork chops turned out so yummy.~
~And we ate out by the fire.~
~How time flies!
One reason I LOVE pics, is that they capture our kids where they are in life right then, and then later when we pull up the pics, we realize how FAST they are growing!!!
This pic came up on FB the other day.
Little Mary with a Kennedy twin...
~And little Elijah with the other twin.~
~The kids and I are staying very busy with schoolwork and instrument practice!!!
And Phillip is playing catch up since he was gone for nearly 3 weeks.~
