~So saying, the Lord helped me to bake 14 loaves of my French bread as gifts for others.  

I was so impressed with my Bosch mixer!!!  I made this double batch of dough, adding like 18 cups of flour and it just purred on like a kitty! ~ 

~On Christmas Eve our family went Caroling and delivered these loaves of bread to our neighbors.  

Some of them are so lonely and hurting and we tried to bring a little Christian Christmas Cheer to them!!

~This year we brought the mauves and maroons back.  
In fact our very FIRST Christmas that we were married Phillip and I went to Big Lots and got a lot of THESE decorations including the angel.  
It was so fun to use them again.~

~My sweet friend Kimberly N. bought this Christmas ball for me years ago.  This picture reminds my Moma of Laura and I at the piano.~

~Christmas Tea~

~For days now we had planned to go and visit Dad and Mom Dickinson and spend the weekend with them last weekend.  

Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house we went...
But on the way Dad called us and said that poor Mom D. Had FALEN down her back stairs and split her lip!!! 😢😢(We

She had to get 6 stitches inside and 6 stitches outside her lip!! 😢
We thank the Lord that is wasn't worse!!! and that she didn't break any bones!!!
She is very sore ...but healing. 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼

~Sunday night we ride with Dad D. to Michael and Beth's church (Pastor John Manley) in Dayton.  

It was so fun to get to see Michael and Beth's kids do their Christmas program.~ 

~Isaiah and Sophia did a superb job and made us laugh.~

~The whole group of young people did a great job and reminded us to keep CHRIST in Christmas!!~

~A few weeks before Christmas Kimberly told me that she had heard a sweet Christmas story of someone who got a PUPPY for Christmas and how they remember it being one of their
most special Christmases.
She suggested that we surprise the kids and get them a puppy.
So,  I talked to Phillip about it and we prayed that Jesus would guide us to the right puppy.
Not much time had passed when Phillip happened to see someone selling puppies ...
among our friends on FB.
So, he contacted them and told them we wanted to get one of their puppies.
When we told and showed them his picture....The kids about MELTED into a puddle.  :-) 
We got to pick him up on November 25th...so they got an early Christmas present.
~He is a BOXADOR...a designer breed... 
and WE LOVE HIM!~

~We all LOVE IT when Grandpa cooks breakfast.  
He was a cook on his ship in the Navy.  He had all of his guys write home and get their favorite recipes and then he would make them.  
THE CAPTAIN of his ship LEFT HIS KITCHEN and started eating at Dad's kitchen.  :-)
If I understand the story right, Dad had to share all of his recipes with the Captain's cook.~

they gave me a wonderful gift card for HOBBY LOBBY!!!  
DID I EVER HAVE FUN SHOPPING!!!  :-)
I got the FUN buffalo plaid chargers with that gift card.~

~CHRISTMAS PUNCH~
2 cups orange juice
2 cups cranberry juice
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup ginger ale
Combine and serve Cold in a Christmasy pitcher
