The Saturday before CPYC, Phillip got a text from Benji H. asking him to call him. So, Phillip gave Benji a call.
Benji told him that that morning while he was praying Jesus told him to call Phillip Dickinson about buying a 2011 rust-free Suburban with low mileage, for a good deal.
Phillip hadn't thought to pray about it yet, but Phillip was wondering what we were going to do this summer when we needed another vehicle to drive back and forth to our church pulling a trailer with a lawn mower.
Our 2011 Suburban HAS BEEN SUCH A BLESSING!!!! But, it now has 402,000 MILES on the ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION!!!!
Jesus has literally PUSHED that Suburban all over These United States...traveling for Him! But, now it is MORE THAN READY to retire! :-D
{ Dear Jesus, PLEASE BLESS the family that GAVE us our original Suburban!!! }
So, Phillip talked to me and the fam about the Suburban and felt like it was a gift from God to us. One of our supporters had just sent us some money, and told us to use it where we saw a need. So, part of their money helped make the downpayment for the Maroon Suburban, and we will make payments for the rest of it. We were so Excited to pick up the Suburban while we were at CPYC. God is so good and takes care of his own!!
~Abgiail did a great job on her gingerbread house. She waited so long to do it, because the rest of her friends had also received one at the CNC Christmas dinner, so Abigail was hoping to get with them and do all of their houses together, but that never happened, because life has been crazy. :-(
~Little Stella learned how to stack blocks.~
~Megan K. sent me this cute photo from 6 years ago. She took this photo during CPYC. Megan was watching our girls, while Phillip and I went to Grammy E's Mother's funeral.
