~We did MORE than survive the SNOW of 2026, we had a BLAST!~

I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HAS STAYED SAFE AND WARM during these last few days!

I'm pretty sure I know WHY the world just got COVERED IN TONS Of SNOW!!!

Because our Mary has been PRAYING for LOTS of Snow!!!  :-)

Our family had soooo much FUN this past weekend...both getting ready for the Snow, and staying inside and doing all things FUN while watching the Snow coming down!

We had a Blast!

We invited Chris, Kimberly, & Stella over to stay!  <3

We had pizza from the store, Mary made brownies, I got out my Bosch mixer and made some yummy cinnamon rolls and rolls, and I made a new delicious recipe for Breakfast cups with bacon, eggs, cheese and cottage cheese. Here is link for those.

https://www.joyousapron.com/cottage-cheese-egg-bites/#recipe

Kimberly and I made a huge pot of comforting chili, we had some yummy salad and fresh veggies, and of course we enjoyed our fair share of hot coffee and hot chocolate!  ('~')

We played games, watched Beavertown Church, had family devotions, talked, laughed, and snuggled that baby!!

Here's picture-proof of all we did. :-D

~Such an encouraging verse.~
~...You know you live in the country when...you hear your rooster crow from your front porch.~
...~All Ready for that snow.~
~Sarah sent this adorable pic of little Adelynn "all snug and ready for the snow."
~Friday was so FUN, because I was ACTUALLY HOME and
got a lot of organization and cleaning done in our house.
My parents had gotten this desk organizer for Phillip for Christmas.
What a Blessing!~
~Saturday night's meal~

~Hot Chocolate....with all the goodies.~
~Enjoying using the fun cup that Kimberly got me years ago.~
~Sunday AM found Abigail going out in the snow.~

~I pulled out my Handy Bosch Mixer...and whipped up some...
~Ooey gooey Yummy Cinnamon Rolls (and some rolls!)
I learned a NEW TRICK!
Before you bake your cinnamon rolls,
Drizzle half & half or Heavy Whipping Cream over them, especially inside each one, and around them.
Place a LARGER pan below them in the Oven,
in case they spill over...
It makes them SO MOIST AND DELISH!!~
~Irresistable with a cup of hot black Coffee.~
~We pulled out some oldies but goodies...games.~
~Stella is such a good "Mommy" to her baby.~

~Watching Beavertown Church on line.~
~Aunt B (Abigail) wanted to let the baby girls play with her childhood little People's Nativity Set at Christmas time...
but she could not find it.
We found it in the Shop on Friday, so brought it over for Stella to enjoy it.
She loved it that when you push the top button it plays, "Away in a Manger."
~Elijah and Mary made snow cream.  Yummy!
We make ours with 10-12 cups of Clean Snow,
1 can of sweetened condensed milk and sometimes we add 1 tsp. vanilla.

~Kimberly and I made a huge pot of chili~
~Little Tiny Stella sitting in a great big chair.~
~The view from my kitchen window.~
~Aunt M dropped Stella down into someone's big boots.~

~We got 22" of Snow.
It literally snowed TONS all Night and all Day long!
The wind was blowing lots, so it isn't that deep everywhere,
But we have lots of drifts.
~We were a Level 2, Snow Emergency,
But Later upgraded to a Level 3,
where they would arrest people
if they found you driving around!
~Scrabble~

~Stella in the youth chair.~

~Adorable, Just Adorable.
(She was only out for about 1-2 mins., just so Grammy could get these fun pics of her.)

~Mary & Abigail go sledding.~
~Abigail found a jean skirt that was stretched out enough to go over her snowsuit.~
~Mary has a skiing skirt over her snowsuit.~

~HERE THEY GOOOO....~

Phillip, Noah, Elijah, Mary, Abigail, and Chris bundled up and went down to our Strait Creek Church to clean off the parking lot and the front porch and walk.
A snow plow was coming down Rt. 41 and saw them and pulled on to Strait Creek and plowed the whole parking lot for them!
PRAISE JESUS!!
Then they ran to the Fields to help shovel their walks,
Shoveled a neighbor of the Field's walks,
(They gave a love offering for the church)
Stopped by our house to get some hot chocolate....
and now they are on their way to help U. Bill and Cousin Laura with their walks.
Cousin Laura just sent me this beautiful pic that she took of the sun and snow!

PLEASE PRAY FOR CPYC
(CENTRAL PA YOUTH CONVENTION)
THIS WEEK!
PLEASE PRAY FOR EVERYONE THAT IS GETTING
READY FOR THE CONVENTION,
AND FOR ALL OF US THAT ARE TRAVELING IN.

IT IS GOING TO BE SOME LOW TEMPS,
AND SO WE DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO HIT
BLACK ICE AND WRECK,
OR BREAK DOWN IN THIS COLD!
ESPECIALLY PRAY FOR GOD'S SWEET PRESENCE
IN THE SERVICES,
AND THAT EACH YOUNG PERSON MINDS GOD.
~HEATHER~
